IDOK DEVOTION FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2008
Abba gave me a word today. It may not be for all of you today but it is likely that at some time in your journey here you are going to feel helpless about something. Feeling helpless tends to entice me to anger. And that is rarely good for me. So as I was mulling over some recent events related to the Presidential race and the liberal mainstream media, I recalled that feeling of helplessness. Helplessness more or less translates voiceless to me. If I cannot voice my consternation to the source who is spewing propaganda …well lets just say I don’t like. The airing of opinions and/or practices that consistently and shamelessly violate Scripture to me is propaganda and should be exposed for the sin it is. So when I hear that dung being spewed day and night, I really want to talk back. I want to tell the propagandists just how full of themselves they are.
But, today something not new, but refreshed is building in me, thanks to ABBA.
The Holy Spirit clearly spoke to my spirit today. He told me Little Girl you are not helpless and you are not voiceless. I am your voice. I am your help. Talk to ME. Come to ME. Talk to ME and listen to ME and I will lead you. I will teach you how to speak and when I have made you ready to speak, your platform, is My platform. And those platforms I have chosen for you I will give to you when I have readied you for them and in the meantime trust ME. I am defending you. Trust Me. Fret not, Honey. I can handle it. Come to ME and you will be strengthened. Listen to ME, you are not without help. You are not with out voice. You have MY Voice. You have ME. Stop believing Satan’s lies and you will no longer feel helpless or voiceless. Stop giving Our enemy that satisfaction. Hold you head up, walk with ME in humility and trust ME. Recall what you know. Recall that abiding in ME is your strength and your voice. Now Young Lady, get up and act like it. Refute Satan’s lies. Trust ME and watch ME work.
John 15: 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Luke 12: 11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.
12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Yes, Sir, ABBA. You are so AWESOME. Thank You. Thank You. You are right. Thank You. Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for loving each IDOK so much. Thank You.
