IDOK DEVOTION FOR MONDAY, JULY 13, 2009

Due to my neglect all weekend to sit before the Lord for the purpose of writing an IDOK (not to say I did not commune with Him all weekend – how horrible for me that would be) and due to the lateness of this hour, I have this brief word – a lesson for us all.

Hebrews 2:1 Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away.

We can only speculate who it was that ABBA allowed the privilege to pen these words. Some theologians think it was Paul and others think another. Truth is it does not matter for the Author is surely our God and He is speaking to us. May we in these days pay much closer attention, lest in this time of rampant carnality we drift past and slip away. May that not be so of any of us! A Happy, Holy and Blessed MONDAY to you all.

Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

This, in part, is from Marzelle’s daughter: She has thallium stress test Tues & that

will determine whether she can have the surgery. Thank you for your prayers. We have seen and experienced many miracles. Mother is encouraged and has new hope.

The earliest date my brother, Donald, can get an appointment with his Oncologist is August 4th. Then the doctor will schedule his surgery to remove the lymph node(s). Then we will have to wait several days to get the pathology report on the lymph nodes. Please pray for the Lord to give Donald His perfect peace while he is waiting for these procedures and also pray that no cancer cells will be found in the lymph nodes, if it be God’s will. ABBA, it is our desire to pay more attention to You, to Your Word, to the Truth You have given us by which we live. Thank You for this Word this morning. It is plenty, more than plenty for us to meditation upon today. We thank You for the good report thus far for Marzelle and for Donald and we pray for more to come. We pray for good reports for each of these listed here below as time comes and goes. We pray for safety and protection for our IDOK Troops and safe returns home for all of them. Thank You that Chad in particular is home safely and now that he is we pray he will find a renewed niche and serve here even more faithfully in Your Army, ABBA. ABBA, I am posting this here in prayer as a daily prayer and I am praying as pure in motive as I know how today, asking that You by whatever ways and means You choose, see to the removal from office of every elected Official in Washington and all 50 States that is not sensitive to and is not inclined to work to preserve Judaeo-Christian values and the Constitution of this Nation in its Original Intent. Lord, I am so sorry that many (and thank You not all) offices of this Nation are filled with corrupt, reprobate-minded people who have no regard for You or Your Word and if I have done anything that has contributed to the election of these people, please forgive me and stop me from any further actions that will damage and bring this Nation to complete ruin. I pray Holy Spirit that You will stir the hearts and prayers of enough people to bring this Nation to repentance and will clean and cleanse the offices and the Officials of this Nation. Father God, please have mercy on us. Lord Jesus, clean Washington even as You did the Temple if need be. And Lord some weeks later since this prayer began we have word from one of those Alabama officials that he wants our prayers, that he is mindful of You, that he does love You and obviously he is well acquainted with Your Word. And ABBA I am so delighted and grateful for this man and for others like him, so for each of them (and You know who they are, Lord) we pray that You will anoint and empower them to stand firm and holy in these places of service You have given them and Lord please bring others alongside to stand with them and help them. And as he suggested move us to be involved in the political process with more than just our prayers according to the individual will You have for each of us. Again, Lord, thank You for this news, thank You for what You are doing. Amen and amen.
