Let Not

John 14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me.  source

Do not let your heart be troubled.  Third word: let

2. To cause to; make

Look at that!

Do not give your heart permission to be troubled! Seriously? Does my heart have to have permission to be troubled? Obviously from Holy Writ it does. And this I know from recent experience, that permission to let it be troubled can be granted in a nano second!  Lets 🙂 find some help.

What follows the first period in the verse? TRUST in GOD.

So when we are trusting our Savior with the immediate ordeal, or circumstance, or threat or whatever . . . our hearts will not be troubled.  That’s good news!
