I suspect there are no Arabs reading our IDOKs as posted to THE WHITE STONE so this devotion must be given as encouragement to us; a Word to us that ABBA always keeps His Word however long it takes! Read with me from Joel 3:2 I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for [their treatment of] My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and [because] they have divided My land. I love it! Look how personally ABBA takes this. He says MY people, My Israel. But more than just Israel, He calls them MY heritage Israel. He says I WILL gather them (but note who it is He is gathering) and I WILL bring them down, I WILL deal with them, I WILL execute judgment upon them. WHY? For their treatment of MY PEOPLE. As surely as I live and breathe, as surely as I sit here in this chair, ABBA will keep His Word to Israel. (Arabs and any Peoples who hate Israel, beware. When you fight Israel, you fight GOD ALMIGHTY. Why would you be so foolish to think you can overthrow Him? )
And, IDOKs, as surely as He will keep His word to Israel, He will keep His Word to you and me who are also the seed of Abraham, not by BLOOD, but by spiritual birth. But you know what? It’s not just the righteous to whom ABBA keeps His word, He keeps it to EVERYONE! NO ONE can count on Him reneging.
Galatians 3: 16 Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah).
Galatians 3: 28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.
So are you waiting on DADDY GOD for something? Does the Evil One attack you telling you that DADDY will not deliver? He’s a liar; has been from the beginning. Don’t you dare believe him!
Lets go back to Joel 3:2. There’s another MY named there. MY LAND. And, of course, He is speaking of the LAND He gave to Israel. But that is not all, I am sure. It’s ALL His land. All the earth; every blade of grass, every grain of sand, every pebble, stone, mountain range, every drop of water in the seas; ALL OF IT! It’s His. And HE will rid it one day of all the pollution(s) of man, physically, materially, and spiritually. Hallelujah!
2 Peter 3:12 While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?
13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.
14 So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]. AMEN and AMEN!
And that’s not all I read in Joel and I would love to tell you more but this is getting long for one edition. We will see what comes in future devotions.
ABBA, I enjoyed this so much and we are not finished. There is so much for You to show us. And we want to see, we want to embrace what You show us; we want to be changed by Your Word, step by step to the image of You LORD our Savior. I ask You DADDY GOD to administer this devotion as You will to my heart and mind and to our IDOKs. Infuse us with power to make holy decisions and take holy steps toward maturity today and every day. Thank You that Dot is doing well. Thank You for every improvement You have given. And LORD, Jenifer comes to mind, You know her needs and I pray for her to receive every help You have for her. And we pray for our IDOK Troops, keep them safe in mind and body and spirit and bring them home safe and sound and more in love with You than when they deployed. And help Moms (and Dads and Grandparents) and wives and sisters (and brothers) and children to trust You to take care of their solider and to take care of each other here. Again we pray for Rick Warren that he will honor You LORD Jesus on January 20. We pray for the Obama Administration and every member of it that You will govern and reveal Yourself to them. We pray for America, for mercy, for grace and space to repent. And ABBA, if I can and our IDOKs can be instruments in Your Hands to help America, move us to do it. We pray for our respective pastors and leaders that their strength and faith will not falter. We pray for the conference on the 30th and the 31st. Pack the HOUSE LORD with hungry women and then feed us LORD and send us out as mighty warriors. Heal our families, heal our land, heal our loved ones listed here and all this we ask in the merits and Name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord and soon coming King. Amen and amen. IDOK DEVOTION FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2009
It is amazing! That doing what is right, what you said you would do, even a tiny little thing like getting out of bed when you told yourself that you would, makes you feel sooo good! And a good cup of coffee while your doing it doesn’t hurt either!
How about a quote this morning that I really like? Earth has NO sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Thomas Moore 1779-1852. If you like visit this website and learn a little more about him and his poem —
Whatcha think of that? Is it true? Is there ANY sorrow that we have here that He, Our Father in Heaven, cannot heal? And if that is true, what are we waiting for; why are we not taking EVERY sorrow to Him?
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
(I think that is the FIRST time I ever notice us being told to fear something. And what are we told we should fear? We should fear failing to REST in His Promises to us. Oh my! Ponder on that one.)
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
(Uh oh! What I hear does not profit me unless it is mixed with FAITH; unless I test it, unless I ACT on it, unless I actually DO it.)
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
(because of what, Unbelief? Me?! You?! )
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4 (KJV).
Ahhh! Grace to help in time of need; even with unbelief and hard hearts! Oh, what a Savior! He in us can do this! We can have hearts yielded to HIM and we CAN believe!!
Did we read these verses in Hebrew with the quote in mind? Read it again. Let us each decide: Why am I carrying around this sorrow?
Oh, Father, thank You! Thank You! We CAN believe! We can have hearts yielded to You; we can enter into Your Rest; we can have EVERY Sorrow Healed by You. Thank You. Thank You for Jesus sake. ABBA, listed here are many names, and they are not just names. They are people with faces, and hearts, emotions, fears and desires. Desires to be well, desires to understand, desire for changes, desire for things to be as they used to be, desires to see children and spouses made whole, desires to know sons and daughters, spouses, grand-children are safe in far away places, and I know that does not touch all the needs or requests. So we collectively pray for these collectively knowing You will speak and minister to each of them individually. Thank You LORD. Continue to protect Israel. Continue to grant space and grace to repent to the American People. Continue to prepare Rick Warren to represent You and the Body of Christ is a worthy manner on January 20. Continue to keep watch over George and Laura as they prepare to return to Texas. And we pray for the Obama Administration, LORD make Yourself known — Your will be done in it all. And specifically I pray for each and every IDOK, comfort them, correct them, guide them, fellowship with them and receive our worship today. Amen and amen. IDOK DEVOTION FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 12, 2009

Where to begin? It’s ten o’clock and I’ve been sitting here ‘playing’ for at least half an hour and there is still ‘nothing’ on the page. The weekend was full of blessings. And the coming week will be too.
I got my Sunday afternoon nap. A really good one. In fact my beloved came in around 5:25 to let me know it was almost time to leave for church and by the time he made it to the hallway I was asleep again. In five or so minutes he was back and by 5:50 we were in the truck. We laughed on the way to church about what this was going to cost him – waking me up and getting me out in the cold.
I really was sorely tempted to skip Sunday evening service. I AM SO GLAD I DIDN’T. I would have missed such a sweet, sweet time of fellowship with some very special people. Often we are tempted to do the comfortable thing rather than the better thing. The world would not have fallen in on me if I had stayed in my warm, comfy bed; but as I sit here writing to you, if I had rolled over for more snoozing, I would not have the precious memories I now have. I would have missed sitting at the LORD’s Table. I would have missed hugs and laughter, beautiful music and sweet tears. And I think there’s more. I think there are things I am glad I missed. I am glad I missed the opportunity to disappoint others. I’m glad I was in my pew. I’m glad I didn’t miss seeing this one and that one. And I’m glad they didn’t miss seeing me – not that seeing me, just to see me, is any grand thing, but seeing me consistently in my usual place of worship, is important. Oh so important. And that’s true for you too. It is so important for you to be in your consistent place of worship, in your consistent place of testimony, in your consistent place of kindness, gentleness, joy, peace – you get the idea. It is so important for us to refuse to ‘nap’ when we have been called to be up, awake and loving one another. I enjoyed teasing Jerry what it would cost him for waking me up. Truth is, I am rejoicing I will never know the HIGH PRICE I would have paid for a longer nap.
Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
Yes, LORD, it’s high time. High time for us to refuse to nap any longer. Thank You so much for this lesson. Thank You so much for this experience. Use it. Use it to help me in other times of temptation to take the easy way, the comfortable way. Use it to help our IDOKs. Use it to help them take the better way. The consistent way. Your Way. And ABBA we pray for Francis and Cathy. You know specifically what they are in need of and You know how to line them up with Your Will so You can give it to them and that is what I am asking You to do. You know the sweet one who requested us to pray for them, she needs You too, for encouragement, hope, just the will to relax and rest in You and Your Goodness toward them and all her family. And I think there could be many more feeling and needing the same, so we pray that for them too. Help them seize this word in faith and hold on to it and until they see You do what You are gonna do. And as we look over this list, I am reminded of Callie. The news they got was not what they wanted but you know what blesses me they love You anyway. Thank You for that. That is so good. Thank You that Callie and her family are in Your Hands and she is safe there, they all are. And this cancer is not for death but life – Your Glorious Life to be revealed more and more – Holy Spirit see that it be so for Callie and every other dear one listed here with cancer or other disease or illness of any kind and form. Again protect our IDOK Troops from harm in mind, body and spirit; draw them to loving you more today than yesterday. Protect and deliver Israel. Have mercy on America, bring this people to repentance and wake up Your Body to take Her Holy Place in this world to Honor You LORD Jesus. Love on our IDOKs today; don’t let one of them fail to hear You say to them in Word or music, or nature, something or someone that YOU LOVE THEM and You are with them ALWAYS. Amen and amen.

Victory – More Than Possible

IDOK DEVOTION FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 9, 2009
This is good. Beth Moore wrote it. I read it on page 9 of her book Breaking Free Day By Day. “We learn to be victorious by surrendering our lives completely to the Spirit of God, not by gritting our teeth and trying harder.” Is that a breath of fresh air or what? And then I turned to page 10 and she was still talking about victory and she said this:
“It’s okay with God for you to be scared to death. He recognizes our fears and our insecurities. I feel like the Spirit of God sometimes says to me, “you know, Beth, I understand that you’re not very happy about this. I understand that you may be crying over this. Cry, shake, whatever–but do My will, child. Do My will. I have victory for you.” So even though you may be afraid about many things, don’t be afraid to allow God to do His work in you, looking into the deepest part of your heart and releasing freedom in your life, teaching you how to live in victory.” Amen and amen.
Isaiah 41:13 (Amplified Bible)13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!
I am not inclined today to mount another soap box but I do want to offer you a thought to ponder. When you become aware of a company whose CEOs or other Authoritative Personnel, against godly counsel, announce the company will with $$ promote an agenda that violates Scripture and undermines the security and stability of the world, please prayerfully consider if you might just divert your $$ to an alternative product on the store shelf. Prayer Request from Jodi for Cathie R and Family; Jodi’s request reads in part this way: Kathie, I found out Cathie R, is suffering from cancer. She was only supposed to have 2 months left when they diagnosed her 15 months ago. She has been doing so well. The last couple of months have been very hard for her. She is continually declining. . . . Looks like your typical cancer patient. Her husband of 29 years is have a terrible time with this. She had an MRI and PET scan yesterday and the results are coming back on Friday. Everyone is dreading finding out the results because of how much she has declined since the last one. As of the last one the cancer was in her bones, lungs, brain, and liver. Please keep this family in your prayers. They are amazing people . . . .Thank you.
We want victory, LORD. I want victory. I don’t want to grit my teeth and try harder. I want as the saying is ‘let go and let GOD’. I have discovered over the years that we humans are not even capable of letting go without Your help. We are such a bunch. How Awesome You are to love us. How amazing You are to love us. We cannot comprehend it. We do not understand how You do it but we are SO grateful! Thank You. We do not accept Your love well though sometimes and in some things. But we want to. We want victory in this, in accepting Your love for us. So I am praying for each of our IDOKs today. That we individually will be empowered to surrender to You, Holy Spirit, to receive Your love, especially with those things we don’t understand and we are not happy with like cancer stealing away our friends and family. And all the other things that are on this list. Like a daughter moving far away, even though she is going to minister in Your name and a son far away in Iraq serving for freedom’s sake. And there are other conflicts represented on this page. Lost souls still in the camp of Satan. We don’t like to think of it that way. But it is true. And we want a victorious jail break for them. We don’t know how You will accomplish this but we ask You to do it. We pray for surrender, theirs and ours. We pray You will break open the bars and barriers around and in their hearts and minds.
