Joyce Meyer quote: “If I have to I can do without you, but I cannot not be in the will of God.”

Joyce gave this quote after speaking of a tool that people use to control others. That is rejection; when they demand we do ‘x’ and if we do not they will ‘ice’ us out of their lives.  When this happens to us we must assume the posture of Joyce’s quote.

From Journey (A LifeWay Publication):So somehow, our big, infinite God listens to little, finite us.  He made us in His image so that we could think, reason, and feel. He has chosen to listen to and value our thoughts and opinions and often acts when we ask Him to move or work in a certain way.

And your prayers for God to move in the world are influential and powerful. You have the ear of the King of the universe, and He listens and responds to what you ask.
