Hope you all had a ‘sweet’ day yesterday. We enjoyed our Valentine Day – topped it off with a banana split and a Sweetheart Blast… Hmmm good!
I looked at an interview yesterday on Christian Broadcasting Network with some information that I’ll share with you here. It seems an older couple has discovered a secret and now they spend a substantial portion of their time traveling and sharing this secret with others. They guarantee great results every time, some in as little as 2 weeks. Testimonials have come in reporting deeper intimacy, a decrease in domestic disputes, a rise in security levels; just all around improvements have been reported. However, even with all the data some are skeptical and have not tried the program; and those testimonials are grim. So what is this secret that guarantees improvement in just 5 minutes a day for 40 days? Glad you ask – prayer! With just five minutes a day for 40 days you and your spouse – even if only one of you actually prays aloud can experience marked improvement in your home and marriage. Such improvements as more peaceful communications, increase in pleasurable romance, reduced insecurities about infidelity and divorce, and even in some cases improved financial stability! Why would any couple resist?! Good question! Why would you?
But there’s more. They also said that it works for other relationships, not just husband and wife. It works for parent-children relationships, sibling-sibling relationships; any relationship – just five full minutes a day for 40 days of praying together, even if only one of the parties actually prays aloud – will improve! It can even be done by telephone if one of the parties is out of town. Any takers?! James 5: 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. Father, thank You for this couple and the ministry You have given them; I pray Your Message will continue to go out through them and will bring the harvest You sent it forth to do. And I pray for our IDOKs today that we too will take this message to heart and that we will practice it. I pray for family members in the home or those coming in and out of the home daily that might be resistant that You will wear down that resistance and prayer can be established. Lord, do what You will with this in each of our hearts. And we bring our list of folks again and we pray for them that they will see and know all their needs of this day are found and given by You. We pray for our IDOK Troops for peace and security of heart in hostile lands; for protection of mind, body and spirit and for a safe return home for each of them at the appointed time. We pray for a successful conclusion to this war; we pray for Peace for Israel, for Repentance for America; for the Election of Your Choice for President and for an Outpouring of conviction and revival upon Your Church all for Jesus sake. Today’s the day, all over the Nation people are saying I love you with flowers and cards and candy and rings and etc. Etc. And I encourage each of you to say I love you today to Your One and Only and to all those who bring smiles to your face when you speak their names. I John 3: 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. Do we all have assured hearts today? Do we all KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW that we are in Christ Jesus and He is in us? What better day than today to KNOW and be assured of our Salvation? 2 Corinthians 6: 1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “ In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Today be sure you have received the love of the GREATEST LOVER in ETERNITY — Jesus the Christ! John 15: 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another. NO ONE loves you more than Jesus! I hope you enjoy the Valentine Picture above. Is it one rose or is it two? Look closely, One is the REAL THING and one is a reflection of the REAL. Let this picture remind you today to be a REFLECTION of your ONE AND ONLY. And earlier you thought I was speaking of that hubby or wife, didn’t you? No – your ONE AND ONLY must be Jesus, otherwise that hubby or wife will never know how good love can be. At the beginning of today’s IDOK what word did you fill in the blank? You said he loves me not; didn’t you? And there may have been or there may be now someone you love who does not love you in return; but with Jesus that’s never a question. HE LOVES YOU always and forever without fail. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I received word on Wednesday, that on Tuesday evening Mark departed this physical life; Margie and Duncan need our prayer support.

And in that love for others we pray for Margie, Duncan, family and friends; we pray that they will find their comfort and peace in You. We pray for strength and courage in these hours and days just ahead and we ask You to bring alongside those who will help with practical provisions regarding funeral arrangements and other things that Margie and Duncan need at this time. Protect our IDOK Troops today; keep them safe in mind and body and spirit; bring this war to a successful conclusion; bring Peace to Israel; bring America to Repentance, cause Your Choice for President to be elected, bring revival to Your Church and help us in Your Body tend to the needs of others for Jesus sake. I designed a card some months ago entitled ‘An Invitation’. Today I read the Scripture Text for that card and I think I need to rename the card. Here’s the text. Matthew 11: 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. We are well familiar with verse 28 and we often quote it: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Beautiful verse! Beautiful, comforting TRUTH. Let that verse just settle in on you today, keep it close today. But just for a moment lets look again at verse 27. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, And if He had stopped there we would ALL be doomed!! But He went on and He said and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. The God of the Universe has Willed to extend THE INVITATION of a lifetime, THE INVITATION of eternity: COME. And there’s more. Read it again: and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Do you see how individual that is?! ONE. Individually, one on one He has revealed Himself to us. Today, YOU have the personal Invitation of Jesus Christ, the Creator and King of the Universe to COME and REST with Him!! That is more than AN Invitation that is THE INVITATION! You will NEVER receive a better one. You will NEVER receive a more important invitation. You will NEVER receive a more all inclusive one. COME to JESUS the CHRIST for WHATEVER you need — REST included!! Any RSVPs today?! Father and Lord thank You for The Invitation to come to You. We acknowledge to You that Your Invitation to Come is the greatest of all invitations. And we acknowledge that we need to come to You; we need the Rest that only You can give; we need the personal relationship with You that You have offered us; we need a place to rest from the load of sin that ONLY You can give us. Thank You for revealing Yourself to us. Thank You for inviting us to Yourself. And with Your help today we come for rest from sin, from worry and fretting and troubled minds and illness and disease and over work and merciless schedules of our own making and grief and whatever else is represented in these we name here. His Ministry to You
Psalm 128 A Song of Ascents. 1 Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. I’ve been studying Psalm 128 with Beth (Moore) and I want to share verse 1 in particular with you. She asked us (those of us working our workbooks) to sum up what Psalm 128 means to us and as I was discussing that with Father, He gave me a beautiful summary. Here it is: Trust And Obey Hymn When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey. Refrain Trust and obey, for there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey. Refrain Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share, But our toil He doth richly repay; Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross, But is blessed if we trust and obey. Refrain But we never can prove the delights of His love Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey. Refrain Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet. Or we’ll walk by His side in the way. What He says we will do, where He sends we will go; Never fear, only trust and obey. Refrain That’s it! Trust and Obey for there’s NO OTHER way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey. Our Trust and Obedience MUST be ‘music’ to HIM! Did you notice the all inclusiveness in verse 1? Father said EVERY ONE; not a selected few; not that one you admire so much because you think she has it all together; no EVERY ONE. Every One who will trust and obey Father isblessed. And yes another word for blessed is HAPPY. We Christians are big on the word JOY and we use it often; especially when we are not happy, we talk about we still have the JOY of the Lord. And that is true and glory be to His Name for it. BUT precious sisters and brothers, IT’S OKAY TO BE HAPPY!! That’s what Beth said. And I believe her. So the next time someone says how are you; shake ’em up real good, tell them you are HAPPIER THAN YOU DESERVE. They may look at you strange and back away or they may say, really? Why? And you can say Happy is EVERY ONE who trusts the Lord and walks in His Ways and that includes ME! Hallelujah!!
Father, thank You that happiness originated with You; thank You that laughter comes from You. Thank You for all the holy emotions You have built into us; help us embrace them and give You glory with holy laughter. And Father, help us choose wisely in what we expose ourselves to so that our laughter will be holy and will be a blessing to You. And in those times when laughter does not come; but rather sadness, help us then to rely upon Your Strength because our JOY is in Your Strength. I don’t know Your plan for Emily and Jfer as to caregiver and working and all the family dynamics but I pray this morning that You will make Your Will known and bring alongside who You desire to minister to this family. And Father, I look over this list and there are babies and toddlers and children with medical problems and family and friends are sad about this and want so desperately to see these children not just survive but thrive. We want them well and it is hard for us to even imagine that would not be Your Plan too and yet we know that our wants and Your Will are not always the same at the same time. But this we do KNOW that You do all things well, all the time, every time, and so we come with our children and we pray You will touch them and heal them. And we pray for those here who are struggling with not medical illness but spiritual illness and we pray that each will turn and receive Your Plan of Rescue for them. And if we can help in this rescue, please enlist us. And we pray for grieving families for whatever reason, that You will send alongside comforters and that You from within will be their Greatest Comfort and Unexplained Peace. And for our IDOK Troops we pray for their protection today in mind and body and spirit. Watch over them carefully and bring them safely home we pray. We pray for a successful conclusion to this war and we thank You for the news we heard yesterday that progress is being made, thank You Lord; and we continue to pray for the Peace of Israel, for Repentance for America, for the Election of Your Choice for President, for the Revival of Your Church. And Father, I pray that each and every IDOK will KNOW today that she and he are loved – that You LOVE them Lord. Amen and amen. A Caregiver for Baby Emily while her Mom works. Anita. Kearley Family. We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
