IDOK DEVOTION FOR TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2009

As you can tell I took Memorial Day off from writing. However, we did some reflecting, praising, praying and I could say something really sappy like any day that my beloved is home with me is a celebration, but I’ll just say that a little before 10:00 o’clock yesterday morning we gathered with a good crowd of people at Satsuma City Hall. And there a memorial to honor those ‘who gave all’ in service to this Country from the Satsuma-Saraland area was unveiled. When one name in particular was called, Jerry’s reflection got real personal — Harry Woodard – Jerry remembered him well. Harry served a month and was killed. Only God knows about these things and we must trust Him. I have been drawing strength since Sunday from a quote I read at Beth Moore’s Living Proof Blog. The Author is unknown to me but the message … well, read and allow the Holy Spirit to give you peace: ‘God allows in His wisdom that which He could easily prevent by His Power.’

Jeremiah 10:

12 He has made the earth by His power,

He has established the world by His wisdom,

And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

13 When He utters His voice,

There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:

“ And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth.

He makes lightning for the rain,

He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

I Corinthians 1:

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Revelation 5:

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice:

“ Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom,

And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“ Blessing and honor and glory and power

Be to Him who sits on the throne,

And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

And in His Wisdom and Power this Day spoken of will come and until then we must trust that what He in His wisdom allows He will enable us by His Power to accept and continue to love and trust Him.

Amen and amen, make it true of each of us, ABBA, that we KNOW Your Wisdom and Power and Love and Mercy are FOR us always. Our thoughts are continuing to be with Betty and Bev and the family, continuing to ask that You heal Betty and restore her to Your service even at her tender age of 5, we believe she is serving You and we want to see that continue and grow and grow. We continue too to think of Doug particularly as surgery is tomorrow and we ask for a complete removal of the cancer and that Doug be healed. We pray for Claudia and the family, for peace for them. We thank You that David is back to work, we trust You with his life. We have not heard recently how others listed here are doing but we continue to entrust them to You. We pray again for our IDOK Soldiers, we ask You to keep them safe in every place they are and we pray Holy Spirit that You will guide them in practical steps of operations and that You will teach them to walk in holiness with each step they take. I am continuing to ask that You cleanse Washington and all 50 States; for the Peace of Israel; for the dreams and visions You promised Your Sons and Daughters in these last days, for us to be useable vessels so You can impart these dreams and visions to us; and I pray for our IDOKs, I don’t know what each one needs today but I know You are there to supply all and I thank You now for all You give us today. Thank You for this ministry, do what You will with it for Jesus Name sake. Amen and amen.

ABBA, I am posting this here in prayer as a daily prayer and I am praying as pure in motive as I know how today, asking that You by whatever ways and means You choose, see to the removal from office of every elected Official in Washington and all 50 States that is not sensitive to and is not inclined to work to preserve Judaeo-Christian values and the Constitution of this Nation in its Original Intent. Lord, I am so sorry that many (and thank You not all) offices of this Nation are filled with corrupt, reprobate-minded people who have no regard for You or Your Word and if I have done anything that has contributed to the election of these people, please forgive me and stop me from any further actions that will damage and bring this Nation to complete ruin. I pray Holy Spirit that You will stir the hearts and prayers of enough people to bring this Nation to repentance and will clean and cleanse the offices and the Officials of this Nation. Father God, please have mercy on us. Lord Jesus, clean Washington even as You did the Temple if need be. And Lord some weeks later since this prayer began we have word from one of those Alabama officials that he wants our prayers, that he is mindful of You, that he does love You and obviously he is well acquainted with Your Word. And ABBA I am so delighted and grateful for this man and for others like him, so for each of them (and You know who they are, Lord) we pray that You will anoint and empower them to stand firm and holy in these places of service You have given them and Lord please bring others alongside to stand with them and help them. And as he suggested move us to be involved in the political process with more than just our prayers according to the individual will You have for each of us. Again, Lord, thank You for this news, thank You for what You are doing. Amen and amen.
