IDOK DEVOTION FOR MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2009

Are you familiar with that feeling of thinking you cannot do something fast enough? That is were I am this morning at 7:34 AM and nothing on this page!!! And with so many thoughts bumping and crashing one into the other within the cramped walls of my mind, I wonder what I can put on this page. Quickly that is, and of any help to you.

ABBA, I know how I got to this spot this morning. I contributed to it, ignorance contributed and faces not connected to voices on the other side of telephone lines contributed, going to bed too late and getting up too late, and my own sense of scheduling. Anyway here I am thinking that I must get word to our IDOKs NOW, which is like putting plugs in my spiritual ears. Forgive me. And as I am experiencing a racing soul this morning rather than a calm and steady one, some of them may be too. I suspect I am not the only one of them rushing and tempted sore to rush on passed You. Forgive us, LORD. Calm us. Don’t let us rush passed You today. Don’t let us wear spiritual ear plugs today simply because we think we don’t have time to be quiet.

Psalm 146:10

Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!

11The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

And Your Word speaks. Let it be, be still and KNOW You are God. And being GOD all time and all things are in Your Hands. We are, our failings are, and our successes. You are IT, LORD, and we are privileged to recognize this. And You are with us and You are our Refuge, our High Tower above all this that troubles us and You are the Stronghold that is teaching us better. Thank You. Thank You for all that You will do for each IDOK this day and for each name written here on our list and for each IDOK Solider. Please keep them safe and bring each one home to family and friends safe and sound. I renew again my prayer written below for this Nation, for the cleansing of Washington and all 50 States and I add this morning for the purifying of Your Church, Lord Jesus. Thy will be done. And, ABBA, identify and remove all our ear plugs I pray. We want to hear YOU and we pray for souls still enough for this to be. Amen and amen.

ABBA, I am posting this here in prayer as a daily prayer and I am praying as pure in motive as I know how today, asking that You by whatever ways and means You choose, see to the removal from office of every elected Official in Washington and all 50 States that is not sensitive to and is not inclined to work to preserve Judaeo-Christian values and the Constitution of this Nation in its Original Intent. Lord, I am so sorry that many (and thank You not all) offices of this Nation are filled with corrupt, reprobate-minded people who have no regard for You or Your Word and if I have done anything that has contributed to the election of these people, please forgive me and stop me from any further actions that will damage and bring this Nation to complete ruin. I pray Holy Spirit that You will stir the hearts and prayers of enough people to bring this Nation to repentance and will clean and cleanse the offices and the Officials of this Nation. Father God, please have mercy on us. Lord Jesus, clean Washington even as You did the Temple if need be. Amen and amen.

IDOK DEVOTION FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2009

Today, I have arrived at this conclusion: (in fact as this day has progressed it has been a day for a few conclusions) that DADDY GOD does not like ruts and that He in His love and wisdom will not allow us to continue in them for too long. And when He determines that I have become too settled, too comfortable, too set in my ways, He allows me to do something seemingly so innocent that will rattle my cage, loudly, and cause me to have to climb out of my comfortable rut, a rut that I like SO very much, and set foot on a new road. And why does He do that? Because a rut is no place for an IDOK. And when He moves to get me out of the rut, I often, way too often, kick and scream and yell and fuss and fume and then eat humble pie because His Road is OH SO MUCH better than my rut. Oh what an AWESOME, WONDERFUL, GREAT, SMART, HOLY, FUN, DELIGHTUFUL, LOVING, KIND, GOOD, MERCIFUL GOD, He is. Now I shall look for a Scripture for us for today and when I find it, we will be well on our way to Friday’s edition being finished. HE IS SO TRULY AWESOME!! I am so utterly lost and foolish and carnal without Him. Praise Him. Praise Him!

Ephesians 6:

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Enough said, huh?

ABBA, I don’t know why You put up with me other than You are so fully AWESOME LOVE. Thank You. And by Your Grace and in Time I will learn and will step by step, ever so tiny as they are, be conformed to Your image, LORD JESUS. Thank You, Thank You. I can never say it enough!

Here are our people with special needs and requests, we entrust them to You. If they are in a rut, You have plans to get them out, praise You. Whatever their need, You are the answer and we are sure of that. We are also sure that You are more willing to provide than any of us are ready to receive. Thank You so much for keeping us saved. Please remind our IDOK Troops today in whose hands they are and bring them home safe and sound at the appointed time. Thank You for Tim’s successful surgery and his coming recovery and for all the provisions You are sending their way. Permit me a re-run today from April 23, 2004 — A Wedding!

John 14

¹DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.

²In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

³And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

He said He was going away and He did. He said He is coming back and He is. He said He was preparing a place for them and He is and you and I are included in that “you”. How I do I KNOW the you includes us?

John 17

²⁰Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,

²¹That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.

²²I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:

Now, what do we see? He said: I am going away to prepare a place for you. Okay, that’s a promise. And He said: I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. Okay, that’s another promise. And now to fit us into that promise He said: all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, There we are!! And look for one more thing; He said: Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, WOW! We are a GIFT to Him and He DESIRES that we be with Him forever! HE IS RETURNING! And He is coming to escort us to the PLACE HE HAS PREPARED FOR US… THE GROOM IS COMING FOR THE BRIDE! That is ONE Wedding I will not miss!

Oh Father God thank You, thank You for including us; thank You for redeeming us; thank You for giving us Your sure and certain promises; thank You Holy Spirit that You have been given to us to seal the deal and for us to KNOW that we are certain to be with You always; that Heaven is a REAL and tangible place and we will be there with You when our place is made ready for us and until You get our place ready; help us OCCUPY here till You come for us; help us do what we are called to do here to prepare to be there with You. Help us deliver Word of Your promises; help us see others birthed into Your Kingdom so they too can share and know a place is being prepared for them too. Father, You know I have many, many people on my mind this morning; we have already spoken of some of them, and You know there are even more; all Your people today need encouragement and strength and wisdom and solutions to problems and situations and relief of burdens or at least a shifting in the load… Yes, shift the load to You… Help us do that and help us bear one another’s burdens as You lead and call us to do. Thank You for Your promises; thank You for a forever home that is forever sure with You for Jesus sake.

Reports: Tim is home and the surgeon said the procedure went well. Now, keeping Tim off his feet for a while is the biggie! Thank you for your prayers and as you are impressed by the Holy Spirit, please continue to pray for him and the family.

Report I got on Chandler and should have given you a couple days ago:

I just spoke with Chan’s epileptologist. The lab report from what they took out of his brain showed cortical dysplasia. Apparently this is something that occurs when neurons don’t migrate in the proper formation and some end up bigger than others. It causes them to misfire which causes seizures. It happens during pregnancy, and it is not something he can pass on to any of his children. It’s just one of those things. Only Chandler. The good news is that he had the most severe type, IIB. This is good news because the more severe the type, the better his chances are of the seizures not re-occurring once you have surgery. Terry
