What to write; what to write on a Sunday evening for a Monday morning? That’s a good question. What would be better is a good answer. :) Perhaps we will get one.
I hope you all have had some R & R this weekend and have invested some time in worship of our Great LORD and Father.
With a week of week days coming fast upon us, none of us are privy in this moment to every challenge that will confront us; but we are privileged to receive comfort in knowing that our DADDY GOD knows and He has already prepared our means of victory. I hope we choose to receive His wisdom and comfort.
Saturday I polled my Facebook Friends and followed up with a question for pondering. I think I’ll share the same with you all.
Saturday 9 AM – “I am curious; taking a poll you might say. How many of my (IDOKS) FB friends read the Bible every day?”
And the follow-up was this: Saturday 12:18 PM “Follow up to my Bible reading poll — just for pondering, not another poll: How many minutes or hours of TV or movies do you watch (excluding Christian programming) a day? Could you, will you divert some of those minutes to reading the Bible?”
Our poll answers directly affect and effect how well we will choose to receive ABBA’s wisdom and comfort leading to victory over our challenges this week.
1 Corinthians 10: New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

James 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
1 James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings.
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
