I smiled when I read
“He showed me that He saw me as precious–that He is a God who cares about His kids,    :)
including whether or not they have a happy birthday.”
in my Journey Devotional Magazine this morning.

 

He is a God who cares about His kids. I feel loved by Him just reading that. I hope you do too.

We are yet to know the whole, the ALL of His love for us but what we do know already is mighty good – for real it is.  :)

Journey went on to ask me if I expect Him to participate in the everyday desires of my heart?
My answer?
Yes, I do. For real I do.

I hope you do too.

Ephesians 3:
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,

Oh my goodness DADDY GOD is speaking this morning in the voice of my Journey devotional magazine.

It spoke of a woman praying for her son. A son making unhealthy choices. She was desperate. She was afraid. And she was praying. Look in on her with me.

“One morning, as I sat on my bed desperately praying for him, I pictured myself bursting into God’s throne room, tugging on His robe like an impatient child, and insisting, “Do something!”

It seemed almost disrespectful to demand that the God of the universe answer my request now. But as He calmed the rush of my emotion, I had a greater sense that He was at work even if I couldn’t see it —  . . .   . “

I can see that! I can see our Awesome ABBA, giving His beloved child such a picture on the screen of her mind.  I see it!  And oh I love Him for it!

I am comforted, I am strengthened, I am in peace, that He is gracious ABBA working even when I don’t see with my eyes what He is doing and yet my little girl heart knows that DADDY GOD is always good, always kind and always right in every thing He does — everything!

She also said:

“What a gift it is when God makes us aware of the unseen, even if it’s only through a gentle whisper to our troubled heart, I’m working on it. Trust Me.“

What a gift indeed!  A gift I have received today. Here — I believe ABBA is offering it to you too.   :)

Do Not Be Afraid

I’m sharing with you this morning a portion of last night’s reading. It is still comforting, still alive to me this morning:

Revelation 1:
17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last,
18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

His right hand – the Hand of Authority, the Hand of Ruler-ship, the Hand of ALL Power and He said do not be afraid. I am only not afraid when I am surrendered, when I humble myself under His Almighty Hand. And there I am safe and comforted. Aren’t you?

There we KNOW HE IS THE LIVING ONE. He is the ONE who was DEAD but now is ALIVE forevermore. The ONE with power over death and hell.

JESUS IS!

Do YOU know Him? More importantly does HE know you?

Matthew 7:
