What can we give thanks for today?
For me, tasks completed, jobs well done, and loving people to help.
Let me encourage you to tackle some of those tasks that you have been telling yourself you need to do but not today.
No time like the present. :)
Origin of No Time Like the Present This idiom is a proverb that was first written in the year 1562. The idea behind it is that if you wait too long to do something, you may never get to do it. Something may come up that prevents you from doing or saying what you wish you had said. source
Proverbs 6:4 Don’t put it off; do it now! Don’t rest until you do. source
It’s way out of context but it’s on point for this post, don’t you think?
It’s Morning! Not really but it will be by the time you see this — it may even be afternoon or evening. Either way: Whether it be work or play or investing the day at home, we can give The LORD praise and thanks.
Today, I am thanking Him for His perfect watch-care over us. Nothing slips up on Him or squeezes by Him. We can rest in HIM and be thankful.
Psalm 139 1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. 2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. 3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. 4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. 5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!source
There’s more to Psalm 139 if you would like to read on. HERE.
For what am I giving thanks today?
Leaves. They make a lovely lawn blanket, equipped with sounds of crinkle, crinkle, crunch, crunch when the great-grands run to and fro.
Leaves.
I like them a lot.
Each season has its own beauty, don’t you think?

We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
