I made it to Ruth — for tomorrow!
Judges ended this way: 25 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
Judges 19 was a hard chapter to read. We have had such heinous happenings in America.
Wednesday’s post defined sin as evil; Judges 19 fleshes it out for us.
I did see some hope in Judges, chapter 21: 6 And the Israelites grieved for their brothers, the Benjamites, and said, “Today a tribe is cut off from Israel.
I think their grieving was that without intervention the tribe of Benjamin would cease, would be no more. They would be 11 tribes, not 12.
I wanted it to be ‘spiritual’ and I want to pursue it that way.
I want us to see that people are cut off from GOD and care enough to pursue them with The Gospel. I want us to pray and take action as directed by HOLY SPIRIT to proclaim the GOOD NEWS to them. I’m concerned about our lack of grieving the Lost, the Cut-Off people of this world.
I am urgently mindful that people are dying without getting off their road to destruction and yet I am painfully aware it is easy to get distracted and occupied with day-to-day living matters. We need to change in JESUS’ name.
Prayer is the first step.

Until next time . . . Kathie
