Two years ago, I began a Bible Reading Journey. I purposed to read from Genesis to Maps, steadily, slowly, and studiously.  I have done that. Today I started the last book, Revelation. 
It has indeed been slow, but it has been the best read of my 74 years!  

First, let me say what The Book says: it is the revelation of JESUS CHRIST!  But wait, you might say, I thought the Gospels were the revelation of JESUS. And they are. The Gospels reveal the Suffering Servant, The GODMAN, our Redeemer, the Passover Lamb, The Friend of Sinners, the list could go on and on of the Awesomeness He is. 

But here, in Revelation, He is revealed to us as He is now and forevermore:  KING of Kings and LORD of Lords!

To those who have crowned Him as their King of Kings and their LORD of Lords, this is a book of Hope. 

As I am compelled, I will share more with you, but for now, just know the book of Revelation is not meant to be a mystery, as many have described it. No, indeed, the very name is Revelation. GOD is not about keeping His Son a secret; He wants us to KNOW Him. Hence, Revelation. 

Perhaps you will use this weekend to acquaint or re-acquaint yourself with this Book, which will play out just as written, and when it begins, it will be a quick onset and a fast-moving conclusion.
