First! I am not in any way suggesting or implying that I think JESUS looks as depicted in the digital image above. It did, however, delight me when I keyed into my URL window, the words ‘Good Shepherd’, and virtually all the images produced were images that I clearly identified as representing JESUS. Even AI knows that the Good Shepherd is JESUS!
So, why did I pick the image I did for today’s Scripture pic? Look at the arm of the man. Strong like a carpenter, don’t you think? And look at the sheep. Have you ever seen such comfort? And I took a liking to the Light in that otherwise dark picture.
So, if you are like me, enjoy knowing that JESUS is the GOOD SHEPHERD and He will comfort you today in this dark world with HIMSELF.
I am leaving you with a gift, He said. One thing is for sure, He was here and He left. His return is also sure. But I have another thought to share with you this morning. He left us with a gift. PEACE.
Peace. Peace of mind and heart! Who doesn’t want that?!
Yet, have you noticed peace of mind and heart is not in abundance these days? I think I know why. He said it was a GIFT. The thing about gifts is that they must be RECEIVED to be enjoyed.
So, what do you think keeps people from unwrapping this gift that everybody wants but few have?
Peace with GOD yields Peace of GOD. Until next time, Kathie
Question. If you had wandered from obedience to The LORD, if you had slipped or plunged into habitual, addictive sin, would you want someone to come to you in true love with an open Bible to show you the way to renewed fellowship with the Father through repentance and surrender to the LORD JESUS? And if no one was forthcoming to you, would you be willing to seek out The LORD JESUS, yourself? One last question, and the most important one, IS The HOLY SPIRIT convicting you today of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come?
2 Corinthians 6: 2 For He says: “In the time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the time of favor; now is the day of salvation! source
Treasured Friends, could we pray more for people we know who are living outside “Thus Saith The LORD”? Could we be willing to speak Truth in love to them as we ourselves surrender to HOLY SPIRIT’s leadings and promptings?
Until we gather here again, Holy hugs, Kathie עֶבֶד
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
