Let us BE

Since stirring this morning I knew I had write it.  Did you know Heaven is all about being in the Presence of The LORD — forever?!  

And have you thought if GOD does not make us fellowship with Him in this mortal life, why would we think or expect Him to force us to BE in His Presence for all eternity?  But IF we choose to BE in His Presence now we can rest assured He will . . . 

John 14:  (TLV)1 “Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, so that where I am you may also be. source

Today many friends and family will gather to love on each other and cry because we are going to miss someone so very dear to us. Ours tears will not be for Jennifer because she has the honor and privilege and immeasurable joy to BE in the very Presence of the LORD forever.  He came for her!  Will He come for you?

John 10:(TLV) 10 The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it abundantly!  source

I note here the word only.

Satan comes to us to only do evil to us. There is NO good intentions in him ever. ONLY! Destruction! Only! Always evil toward us and toward GOD. 

And on the other hand, GOD ONLY comes to us with only good and HE is the only One who is ONLY GOOD with all His thoughts, all His Acts toward us. Only!

So we can only contribute only to GOD or Satan (one good, one evil — only). We may want to associate only with others but we dare not.
Mortals have yet to achieve only.
Those we love may intend to ONLY do us good but being humans, they fail.
And we don’t only forgive them their trespasses but we should, if only we knew what was good for us. And I have yet to encounter a fellow human who only does me harm.
They slip up sometimes and do something nice.  :)

Only.
Only GOD is always GOOD and only GOD always loves us unconditionally.

Valentine’s Day 2018

I didn’t set out to be absent from the page the first two days of this week. So for me it is good to be here today. Valentine’s Day. 

There are at least a couple of stories reciting the purported origin of Valentine’s Day.  Which are true if any of them I do not know. But this I know. GOD DOES LOVE US!  

John 3:16 (NLT) 16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. source 

Valentine’s Day can be fun. Can be overdone and underdone I suppose.  But if you KNOW the GOD of Scripture and you KNOW He loves you and you have Life Eternal every day is valentine’s. Every day you are celebrated and loved by the ONE Who matters Most!  Let us rejoice! 

Psalm 118:24  (CSB)24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. source

Truth

Truth. Two Hundred Twenty Four times the word truth appears in the KJV of The Bible.  It’s important.

I want to encourage us today. I want us to know that truth prevails over lies. I want us to stand faithfully, patiently and wait for lies and falsehoods to fail. They will. Do not rail. Do not be afraid. Stand. Truth prevails. Wait. Believe and see.

Psalm 100:5  (KJV) 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. source

Psalm 119:142  (KJV) 142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. source

Proverbs 3:3  (TLV) 3 Let kindness and truth never leave you— bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. source

John 14:6  (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. source

John 14:17  (TLV) 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him. You know Him, because He abides with you and will be in you. source

3 John 4  (TLV) 4 I have no greater joy than this—to hear that my children are walking in the truth. source
