Baby Girl keeps me supplied – a number of years ago she gave me the first one and she said every time you see it spinning, just know I am thinking of you, Momma.

Today, I am thankful for . . .
birds that feed. 
And violets that bloom deep purple.
A potato masher. Yes, a potato masher is giving me cause to tell you of reasons to give thanks today.
My Momma’s potato masher. 
I don’t use it but I value it; so much that it has a place of display in the kitchen.
The handle is clear evidence that she used it for years, and she mashed more than potatoes.
Strawberries!
I can still see her mashing that pan of berries as she prepared the berries for the freezer and/or strawberry jam.
Sweet memories!
