As I begin, I do not intend to be long, neither with words nor with the unpacking of the thought to be introduced. I hope you recall or will look it up, Matthew 24, the Disciples asked the LORD about His coming again. The first thing He instructed them was to not be deceived, and He continued with that word as He answered their question.
Now for my point.
Deception.
Deception is the first indicator that the End (or the Beginning, whichever way you see it) is at hand. Other happenings are mentioned as well, like wars, rumors of war, earthquakes, famines, etc., but we have had all those forever, all over the world.
I have believed for as long as I can remember that YESHUA is coming again, and I have been skeptical about when He would come back.
I am here to tell you I am more excited about His Return than I have ever been, more eager, and more inclined to say with other Folks that I now believe, we are close, very close.
Why? Deception.
Just 6 years ago, a smothering blanket of deception wrapped itself around the world.
For 2,000 years or more, we have had earthquakes, famines, wars, etc., at various times and places, but not globally, simultaneously, as is this deception.
Let me give a caveat right here: the global deception, even though it is global, some escaped and are continuing to escape—that’s Biblical, too.
Okay, I’ve already gone longer than I intended.
Here’s the bottom line: I am expecting YESHUA to return sooner than some of us have thought.
One final word: what do you need to do to prepare for His Return?

This kind, is it unbelief or a rank of demon? Or something else?

We live in a beautiful world. Especially here in the WEST, we have lovely things, or do the lovely things have us?
A one-sentence Text today, with a lot to say.
Are you ready? Here’s what I think.
First, there must be the Desire to follow JESUS, and for there to be a desire, there must be a new heart, one that desires GOD, and only He can give us that new heart.
Next, for that desire to be present and active in us, there must be a denying of our flesh, like shutting up that incessant cry for “my way”. Like consistently taking a stand of death to this world and its things — yes, we are in it, but not of it. NOW, we are ready to follow Him.
I think that’s it.
