8 . . . Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4 source

Day and night they never stop saying it. 

Holy, holy, holy

He is eternal. GOD who was, GOD who is and GOD who always will be. 

It’s a heavenly scene but it is written and preserved for our learning, not just for the future but for now I think. Today. 

Today, if my life, not necessarily 24/7 speech, will say He is MY eternal GOD and He is holy, holy, holy, then there will not be much on this temporary planet that will trip me up. Takes practice. 

I am comforted and challenged to think on this.

A Word of Comfort from The GOD of ALL Comfort.

Revelation 21:4  (CSB) 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.  source

And until then

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (TLV)3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement. 4 He encourages us in every trouble, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any trouble, through the very encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Messiah overflow into us, so also through Messiah our encouragement overflows. source

The dress was beautiful. And I understand the ceremony was unlike any other Royal Wedding. The pomp and circumstance were thrilling; folks got all gussied up. Yes, YouTube gave me a glimpse after all was said and done. And I’m glad I got to take in a bit of the splendor. And I’m  not here to rain on any one’s parade but I would like to add some perspective.

Revelation 19: 6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
    the Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and exult
    and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
    and his Bride has made herself ready;
8 it was granted her to clothe herself
    with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”source

Now THIS is a wedding YOU don’t want to miss! And if you think today was splendid and beautiful and elegant and on and on with those descriptive words: Honey, you ain’t seen nothing yet!”
