I received a text message from Bev this evening asking that we pray for her daughter Dixie and grand-baby. Dixie is at 32 weeks gestation and has had an adverse reaction to some medication administered to stop premature contractions. Presently a new medication has halted the contractions and Dixie is improving; we want her to continue to improve and be able to give the baby 3 more weeks in the womb. Please pray for Dixie, the Baby, Bev and all the family.
Just a bit ago I received a phone call from a Sister IDOK requesting that we add Milly Langely to our Praying for These Loved Ones. Milly is seriously ill, so much so she is soon being transported to UAB for more specialized care. One particular area of concern is major infection, the cause and treatment is unknown at this writing. As you all receive this post, please pray.
To the right of this page there’s a button that reads: “Elaine — Worth Reading” and oh how true it is. I’ve been reading Elaine this morning and I’m not through reading. I’m up to Part 5 of 8. It’s a series she did in 2009 describing the Proverbs 31 woman. I discovered her work on this subject this morning and it so God ordained! I’ll spare you the details, for now anyway, but just believe me when I say THIS IS A GOD THING for me. He is reading my email this morning!!!
I am setting forth here plainly and strongly that all 8 parts of Elaine’s series is copy-written. It is totally her work and I am laying NO CLAIM whatsoever to it, just honored to share it with you. My plan is to study it earnestly and glean from it every ounce of strength and correction Father will give me in it.If you would like to do the same here are links to all eight parts. May each of us who takes this journey be transformed into Rubies for JESUS.
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
