Mid Friday Morning Hello
Ironing and watching Joyce Meyer.
And she quoted
Isaiah 40:(King James Version)
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

And I thought just a quick word to my Friends.
Wait upon the LORD and our strength shall be renewed.
Wait before Him before we open our mouths to others.
Wait before Him before we decide yes I will do that.
And the list goes on and on.
And our strength to live godly will be given us as we wait before the LORD.
Back to ironing and Joyce.
It’s a beautiful day.
Love you all — have a holy and happy weekend.

An Appeal
If you will, I’d like for you to assist me with my Sunday School lesson prep. I have a question I am contemplating asking my class about Colossians 1:23.
Colossians 1: (New American Standard Bible)
23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

What causes people to move away from the hope of the Gospel?
In what circumstances do you feel most vulnerable and are tempted to lose hope?
Do you think verse 24 gives the nutshell answer and if so what do you perceive that answer to be?
Colossians 1: (New American Standard Bible)
24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.

If you prefer to communicate via email and not posting a comment, please feel free. Thank you for your help.
