I hope you all have had a pleasing Saturday so far, and perchance you stop by here for a second time today, please pray for Allison’s friend –Misty Smith (husband Greg) and her pre-born daughter, Willow Grace – I am so loving that name.  The following is from Melinda:

And the LORD knows all the going-out and coming-in of all His people.  Praying for Martha and family.  I have a request for a friend of Allison’s and our family.  She is family to us…the one who drove over to be with Betty while we were on our way to Knoxville.  She lives in Knoxville; is pregnant (due in August); has high BP and eclampsia.  The doctor changed her BP meds yesterday, and if she gets through the weekend, on Monday will begin to give her steroid shots to help Willow Grace’s lungs, since she WILL be early.  Pray for her health and Willow’s.  We are praying that this will help her BP and she can wait a few more days without serious complications.  Doctor says for every day Willow is in the womb, it is two days less in NICU.  We who have had healthy babies and little trouble having them are blessed.  It took awhile for her to get pregnant and now this…very serious.  Please pray fervently as you think of them.  Thank you!    Love ya! A few of you are plugged in this Saturday morning, I want to pass a prayer request to you for your weekend conversing with JESUS.  To those who want a Care Page link for Joshua’s story and his mother’s recent post, please let me know via email.

Additionally, I received word this morning that doctors expect Martha Barnes to transition from here to Eternity within 24 hours.   They and we know that DADDY GOD is in charge of that; even so we appreciate the Doctors sensitivities and I ask that you all intercede for Martha and for her family, particularly her daughter, Ann.

And since we are praying please go ahead intercede for those Specific Unspokens on our PFT list.

Kathie, Here is the latest update on Joshua Akin..the little boy my Sunday School class and prayer chains have been praying for since he was born in 07. His family lives in Morristown, TN..my hometown. They go to my cousin’s church there. Melinda Hanna got me started on their CarePage and I have asked for prayer for Joshua before. He is a miracle child and God has used his life to touch so many people and show them God’s Love. Please add him to our prayer list. His dad lost his job at Berkline Manufacturing and they lost their insurance there. Over three hundred people in our little town lost jobs because of this closing.  It has been very sad there and hope for new jobs is scarce. Lee Akin is a wonderful man and father. He has shown his trust in God and is trusting again that something will open up for him so he can take care of his family. Thanks for being such a great prayer friend.  love you, Mabel
