Wilting

Without a comparative perspective, some things can look much bigger than they are. I noticed that when I snapped this picture this morning img_9299and I thought there was a lesson there. Perhaps when we look at certain situations, we wilt at the size it appears to be but if we compare that situation to what we have already seen GOD do for us . . . we square our shoulders and lift our heads.
Let’s do that today.

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head.  Psalm 3

I encourage you to read the whole Psalm.

  1. Beautiful psalm!!
It is clear in this psalm that no matter what we go through in life our salvation ONLY comes from the Lord.
It may seem bleak and hopeless. It may seem like defeat will over take you. It my feel like God has forsaken you. You may think you have been abandoned. It may seem the whole world is against you. Nothing is further from the truth when you are an obedient child of God!
That is when we need to look to God for the answer and deliverance. Only when we look to Him can we change our perspective and not wilt under the pressure from the enemy.
God, YAHWEH, is our deliverance, our glory and the lifter of our heads!!!
Oh hallelujah!! SELAH!!! Pause and think of that!

Yes? No? Maybe? Whatcha say?
