This Season of Opportunity

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1 

GOD came and walked among us.

HE will come again and walk among us. 

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1

GOD made Himself flesh so we could see Him, touch Him, interact with Him, and commune with Him. 
GOD did that for us.
And when He returned to Heaven for this season of opportunity, HE sent HOLY SPIRIT to testify to us that His coming WAS and IS true. 

GOD walked among us! And HE will again!

2025, A Quick Hello, Ephesians

It seems impossible!
January 6, 2025!   But here we are.  We may get some greens and pork chops today.  Nearly a week late but since we are not superstitious it will not matter — just something tasty to eat.

It’s cold here today for Lower Alabama- 40 degrees- and mostly cloudy.  A stay-at-home day, unless I really need something at the store.😊

May we encourage you today to pray for your family and friends; pray for people around the world who are sick and hurting, who are lost and have yet to see their way to the Savior. 

A verse comes to mind: 32 Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.   Ephesians 4

To all our Readers, new and long-standing, thank you and please hang with us as we navigate 2025. I am continuing my reading through the Bible from 2024. Twenty-twenty-four was the best time in Scripture of my life I think. I am expecting 2025 to be even better! Learning my Father, serving my LORD, and waiting for Our KING! 

I hope you will often stop by The White Stone Blog this year. I hope in this new year, I will give you reasons to come by for regular visits.
