Allow me to draw a conclusion and make a pitch to us.

Turn on any form of digital media, go to a store, or drive on America’s roadways, and see voluminous expressions of evil.
Is it any wonder people are overwhelmed — absolutely — sick. of. it!
And then there is this Scripture verse.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I see two avenues.
Let us not succumb to evil and become participants in it.

Instead, let us combat it in this world by doing good—remember the Text: Yeshua went about doing good. (Acts 10:38)

Avenue 2: Let us not see the rampant evil, take to our beds, and pull the covers over our heads.

Instead, we can throw off those covers, don our armor (see Ephesians 6:13 -17), step into the shoes chosen for us by our Father, get out there, and do some good.
Shine some light on those groping in darkness.

One more word: did you notice the Text says we CAN overcome evil WITH good?

That’s my conclusion and my pitch.
