The Cure

It is hard to be hated. 
GOD knows this. So, He gave us a remedy. It’s not a sweet pill to swallow. But when we do, we are healed. 

Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.  source

I am thinking of President Trump as I key into this screen.
I think it is likely he is the most hated man in America.
The most reviled upon and likely the most maligned.
It is not for me to know how he handles this in the secret of his heart. But I see on the outside he keeps going. He doesn’t give up. I appreciate that. He needs our prayers. My soul is tendered for him. 
But the real clincher is this: does my soul bleed for those who hate him? That is what GOD expects of me. 

Refusing to allow our own souls to decay from the hate of others is hard. Without prayer and surrender to Scripture, we too will fester and ruin.
Hatred is like leprosy. It consumes the host and spreads to others on contact. BUT!
Mercy is a powerful antidote.
Mercy looks beyond the hate offered to the hurt of why. Perhaps you have heard, hurt people, hurt people. I believe it’s true. Our world is filled with hurt people who are hurting other people. 
There is a CURE. 
His name is JESUS. 
Admittedly, the Rx HE writes cannot be taken alone. 
The natural man’s stomach just can’t handle it. BUT!
The HOLY SPIRIT within enables us, so the medicine goes down sweetly. And the more we take of it, the better we get! 

So, if you have been hurt or you are hurting, I hope you will seek JESUS, I hope you will ask HIM for His personal Rx just for you, please take it as HE prescribes and you will be healed.

Father, it seems to me that it is going to take a whole lot of Holy Spirit ministry to get Your Children back to in-touch ministry, to each other and the Lost People of the world. The Evil One has frightened the whole world into cowering isolation. People are afraid of human touch, afraid to be good Samaritans; perhaps even afraid of You. Not all of us, but more than not it would seem. 
Please, Holy Spirit, advance a ministry of recovery on us. Teach us and encourage us to face the roaring lion in whatever grab of disguise he is wearing and to be not afraid of him anymore.
Help us stand him down in JESUS name and send him slinking for cover.
Abba, I love this Country. I thank You that You saw fit to birth me and re-birth me in this Country right here. I am grateful and I thank You that through all the darkness and sin You have had a remnant of people who have loved You and have tried to learn Your Ways and live to obey You here in America.
And it is because of You in these people that America is still here today. I don’t see what You see but with my limited abilities, I see an uprising of evil in people. I see people deceived and racing down the broad road of destruction; destroying their lives and trying to destroy America too and in the end, damning their own eternal souls to hell. Billions of people in this world are running headlong to hell and I am unable to stop them.
And honestly, it seems to me, Papa, that few of us who say we are Yours actually care if they go to hell. It’s almost as if we have become so cold-hearted that we by our lives are saying ‘I have my fire insurance and if you don’t have yours too bad for you, I have no time to be concerned about you.‘ 
Please forgive me, forgive us. I hate the evil and corruption that seems to have the upper hand. I hate what has happened and what is reported on just about every digital screen in this world. It would be overwhelming if that is all I could see. I have seen some glimpses of what I believe is You working. I want to see more. Please open me to see You and more of what You are doing to save people and America. Please, Holy Spirit, come and save Your people and the Lost. Hillary thought she was set to advance the plan to destroy America but President Trump interrupted that plan and now the world would have us believe that Biden gets to pick up where that Administration left off and usher in the death of America. I pray You will yet overturn this in JESUS’ name.

Day 13 of The Giving of Thanks.

A Fireplace. 
I’m giving thanks for a fireplace that never worked properly and now ceases to work at all, for a fire that is. However, it is excellent at housing candles and treasures. The treasures of a little boy, just over 2 wonderful years of age. Little Man thrills to pull aside the curtain and hid plastic eggs. I leave them there. 
Yes. This no longer wood-burning fireplace brings me many smiles and warms my heart. 

Matthew 6:21 (NKJV)  21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. source

Proverbs 2:7 (NLT) 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. source

2 Corinthians 4:7 (TLV) 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, so that the surpassing greatness of the power may be from God and not from ourselves. source

Day 12 of The Giving of Thanks.

A glass of satsuma juice. This glass of satsuma nectar represents many things for which to give thanks.  The FRIEND who grew and shared her satsumas. The GOD who gave seed, sun, water, and nutrients that the satsuma would be there on her tree to pick. The BLENDTEC that juiced the fruit. The GLASS found at a yard sale hosted by Friends.  ELECTRICAL POWER to run the Blendtec; resources to pay the bill; and people to work the lines to provide the power. The COUNTER on which the glass sits contained in the house provided by the Hubby who loves me.  And there is more but you get the idea. It’s connected and the praise and thankfulness could go on and on. And it should.  Happy Thursday, y’all.

1 Corinthians 10:31  (NKJV) 31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. source

29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” 30 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.  source Matthew 26

I am including this passage in Matthew to hopefully stir your thoughts to think of (and perhaps read) these verses in context and what they mean. To think of JESUS – YESHUA. To think of what HE did for you and THANK HIM today. And that you be happily reminded of what is to come for us who love Him.
