A Plea

Watching some of mankind has brought me to a place of sadness and alarm.

White privilege and Get Out.

Before we sign up for the course or pay the ticket price would we not do well to consider the motivation of the originators and the promoters?

Is it not obvious the makers of Get Out are primed for money? And White Privilege courses? Why? What’s the motive? Education? Really?

So, let me ask. Do either of these projects promote harmony? My perusal of Facebook and some other internet venues shouts NO.

Consider this.

Born black?

Born white?

Born brown, yellow, red?

Not a one of us got to choose our birth parents, our birthplace, our skin color, and a myriad of other birth factors. So why are we warring over it? Really. Why?

There is One who did choose.
GOD.
That’s right. GOD chose our skin color and the whole kit and caboodle regarding our birth factors. So, since GOD chose why are we fighting about it or against it?

Let me pitch this out to you: Racism is stemmed in disagreement. Disagreement WITH GOD.

May I tell you what I have experienced? Every soul I meet and converse with for more than a minute or two that are filled with and walking according to the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, we are instant friends. Racism does not live and thrive in the Spirit filled Body of CHRIST.

Whatever our skin color, whatever each of our birth factors are those factors are the VERY BEST suited factors for us. They were suited to us individually by GOD to abundantly equip us to do the life He put us on this earth to do.   AND GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES.   (Psalm 139)

He loves each of us; all our varied colors are beautiful to Him and at the very least we are foolish to think otherwise.

And the sooner we believe this and live accordingly the sooner racism dies. This is my plea. Stop buying into this madness. Reject white privilege punctuated with hate, refuse to fuel Get Out and every other movement that pits us against each other. Stop posting, stop saying, stop doing stuff that fuels unbelief and hatred. Be a part of the solution – offer LIFE in CHRIST JESUS with words and deeds. Racism originated in hell – refuse to go there.

Matthew 12:36 (KJV) 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  source 

What if He means EVERY word we SAY by voice, by pen or a click of the mouse?

Milk Toast

I asked ABBA a question this morning; we are still discussing it.

ABBA, have we as Western people made You into a milk-toast God – a God Who is no longer Just or capable of being angry at sin or sinners?

Isn’t it true that healthy people separate themselves from close fellowship with others who do them harm? Is GOD not smart enough to do that too? Perhaps a few verses related to fellowship would shed some light. Click HERE.

Why would we want a GOD that does not punish (or at the least warn and correct folks committing) sin? Why would we want a GOD Who is all love, the sappy kind that says “oh any thing you want to do is fine with me; I’ll even stand here and applaud as you do what I have revealed in My Word is deadly for you?” What kind of soul wants that kind of GOD? What kind of parent does that to their children? What kind of society does that to itself? 

Has the Western society at large come to the place its people want no GOD or perhaps a GOD that bows to the people instead of the people bowing to Him in love and obedience? 

Thoughts? Answers?

Not So United

Day 36
330 days remaining after today.

Nearly Friday again already!

I’ve heard lots of lies today. I watched the News.

I’ve seen the faces of people with eyes that appear to be open but are surely closed for they cannot see or perhaps will not. It’s frustrating! Obviously, since I am expressing it on this screen. I suspect some of you are similarly frustrated. If so, this is what I think we must do: Pray and pray some more. Pray specifically. Take their names to ABBA. Not that He does know – it just helps me to tell on them. :)

Please intercede for these United States of America that are not so united anymore. 

I am grateful for Scripture that assures me this corruption will not stand forever; that those who practice evil will not escape the consequences of their lawless deeds. Please understand I am not asking for lightning bolts to be hurled on their heads; much to the contrary. I desire for them to repent, believe the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST and be redeemed. Even so it must be that if they do not repent, ABBA is just and they will be stopped in His time. I rest in that; even if they barter their way out of orange jumpsuits and handcuffs throughout their life span here, justice will reach them.  

And so, anger subsides.

I heard something else today. Not Scripture. Chapter and verse. But Biblically sound I think. When I am swept away in anger, most often that is because I am seeing myself as a victim. We must not stay in that place! We are not victims!

We are over comers in Him Who loves us! (Romans 8:37) And this applies, whatever political party is presently corrupting Washington. This helps me. And believe me I need help! 

First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, 2 including kings and all in positions of prominence; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything. 3 This is what God, our Deliverer, regards as good; this is what meets his approval.  ABBA, perhaps I will spare our Readers the name calling, especially since You know. You have heard the names more than a few times. So for now I will ask You to forgive us and heal our land. Like the movie the War Room I ask You to raise up a people; a people that will love You, worship You, obey You and will demonstrate Your Gospel to all the world, especially here in America. I am not happy with the sin and corruption that has brought this present darkness to America, darker than any time in our history and I pray for the LIGHT to dawn. I pray a people will hear You and will pray, seek Your individual will for themselves and will be available to You for what You desire to do through each of us to glorify Your Name and save America. Raise up a People LORD that will obey Your Word and let us see a Leader in the Oval Office that Honors You and the Constitution You gave us for JESUS sake.
