Colossians 1:13-14 (TLV) 13He rescued us (me) from the domain of darkness and brought us (me) into the kingdom of the Son whom He loves. 14 In Him we (I) have redemption—the release of sins.sourceparenthetical added
And I had to say is it, LORD? Is it my aim? To know You – yes! To experience the power of Your resurrection? Absolutely! To share in Your suffering? And there I paused. I don’t like it that I paused but I did.
Philippians 3:17 Brothers and sisters, join in following my example and notice those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. (18 For many walk who are enemies of the cross of Messiah—I have often told you about them, and now I am even weeping as I tell you. 19 Their end is destruction—their god is their belly and their glory is in their shame. They set their minds on earthly things.)source
Did you see it? Paul is weeping over those whose end is destruction. This is convicting. Let us pray that we will weep over those whose god is not the GOD.
Abba, tender our hearts so much that we will weep with You for every soul that does not know You in the Saving Grace of Your Holy Son JESUS.
