Saturday’s sun has set, and lights are now glowing in all the houses on our street, including ours. Football is being played, and I just wanted to say hello.
Today was Pioneer Day in a small, happy town near us, so we seized the opportunity for an outing with two little great-grands. I don’t often share pictures, for privacy reasons, of course, but perhaps a few just this once will be a happy for us all.
When all the pioneering was done and we were safely home again, Little One asked for a walk in the street. He knows walking our slow, quiet neighborhood street is a no-no without a grown-up tagging along. It was a delightful walk, especially since we found this.
The picture certainly does not do it justice with the splendid late afternoon sun dancing on pink but we hope you enjoy it.
