See What I Mean?

Journey had a lot to say to me today and I have only gotten as far as the opening Scripture. Here is what I mean.

Psalm 101:2 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

2 I will pay attention to the way of integrity.   . . .  I will live with a heart of integrity in my house.

via Ps 101:2 HCSB – I will pay attention to the way of – Bible Gateway.

In truth, I did not live that way yesterday in my house. Most likely I would have at your house. See what I mean?  Of all the people on the planet, it is our families that would most benefit from our integrity. Glad I was home alone yesterday. :)  Seriously, living unglued – without integrity – is sin. And we need to stop it. And for today we can. Scripture tells us so.

Philippians 4:13 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

13 I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

via Phil 4:13 HCSB – I am able to do all things through Him – Bible Gateway.

And tomorrow? Let’s do today first.  :)

Today I am praying for Tavarie. He has some health issues. Would you join me in praying for him too?

First, I must thank You for mercy and forgiveness and loving correction. Thank You, Father. Thank You for Your strength to live with integrity today. Thank You.  And we come bringing Tavarie today; asking for a remedy and for resolution of these health issues and all matters concerning Tavarie. We are not privy to Tavarie’s life but You are and we are grateful for the privilege of praying for him.  Thank You. And there are others. And so I come this morning with these names filling my mind at this moment, names and situations, conflicts and issues needing attention and I ask for Your Touch in each. And I pray for my dear Friends who come here to faithfully read and pray, thanking You for them and for the strength and help You will give to each one of them this day.

Blessings, Friends +++

Remember YOU have the God-given RIGHT to do right in this wrong world!

The Emperor’s Club

Hubby and I watched a movie in the course of the weekend. I would not bill it as a ‘Christian’ movie; however, I have some appreciation for it.

You see it is the only secular movie that I have seen in memory that so clearly depicted the consequences of a single compromise.

A compromise the teacher thought would surely help his student, encourage him, spur him on to greater achievements. After all he had earned an A – changing it to an A+ wasn’t that big a deal, right?  And yes it would prevent Student A from the competition; but Student A was already a solid achiever; he’d never know; he’d be okay, and Student A+ needed this competition.  (Oh how we can reason when we contemplate compromise.)

Student A+ did win the competition and became a powerful, rich, influential man — but never an honest man.  You see he cheated to win the competition and he saw the Headmaster and the Teacher turn a blind eye.  He knew why; his Father was  a Senator and benefactor to the School.

Twenty five years passed and the teacher finally fessed up to Student A what he had done, telling him he should have been included in that prestigious competition. The Teacher was finally free. He had finally confessed and now what would Student A do?

Well, something pretty remarkable, I think — he entrusted his own son to the tutelage of his beloved Teacher.

Compromise. It’s sin. It hurts the Compromiser and those compromised. No body wins.
At least not until repentance is received and forgiveness is given.

Any thoughts?

A Favor, Please.

Okay. I’m gonna ask a favor of you.

A couple or three years ago I established my blog KAT’s Meows because I wanted a place to ‘hiss’ a blessing of political and other natural matters rather than doing so here at The White Stone.

So. The favor?

For as many of you as will, I’d like for you to go over to KAT’s Meows and sign up for email delivery to your in-boxes of my postings over there. It works pretty much the same way as here at The White Stone. I post and within 24 hours or less The Blogger generates an email to you containing my post.

So why do I want you to sign up?
This is an election year!   :)  And quiet frankly I’d like to influence you. And give you information to help you influence others. And yes I could do it here at The White Stone but KAT’s Meows is a better venue for it, I think.

I’d like to see a good man elected this year.  And I’d like to share information that comes to me from varied sources about all the candidates; and particularly the man I want to be President.

So if you will, click HERE and you will be directed to KAT’s MeowsThere you will find a place to sign up for email deliveries.   When you get over there look for  this:

Want New Post emailed to your inbox?

I hope you will.

And perhaps I’ll have a IDOK for you in the morning too.   :)
