Up and Out of There!

I was reminded of this verse this morning while pulling weeds from the front walk flower bed.

A few of the weeds pulled up easily, the rest were a bit more stubborn; hanging on to the soil in which they were entrenched with all tenacity. But alas I won and out they came, bringing a bit of the soil with them but that was okay, they were up and out of my garden!

Get the picture? Keep praying. Fasting if you need to until those stubborn betting sins are up and out of there!

Hebrews 12:1 English Standard Version (ESV) 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Be of good courage! Take heart and keep tugging on those stubborn weeds until they are uprooted and gone! In other words: keep resisting the pull of the fleshly desires that are marring the beauty of your life and as you resist, rely on the power of JESUS CHRIST to uproot even the clingiest ones! 

Thank You, ABBA, for the exercise this morning in ridding myself of clinging and stubborn sins.  I pray this lesson will help others too. And persistently we come to prayer with our sick and afflicted and I ask that You heal and restore them. And our rebellious and oblivious, thank You for continuing to pursue them; HOLY SPIRIT, please help them stop and allow You to apprehend them. I pray for Israel, for Her peace and the subduing of all her enemies. I pray for America that You will have mercy and save us, ABBA, for You very own Name Sake.

We have the God-given Right to do right in this wrong World,

Just Asking. . .

I John 4:16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

I wonder what this day would be like if you and I believed – I mean REALLY believed that GOD, THE GOD of this Universe LOVES us – I mean REALLY loves us.

What would REALLY believing that do for our respect for ourselves and others?

What would it do for our words when someone cuts us off in traffic?

What would it do for us when the pantry is as low as the checking account?

What would it do for us when her fever is 104 degrees and the doctors don’t know why?

What would it do for us when he is a cheater and seems to be getting by with it?

What would it do for us when she lies and yet gets the promotion and we don’t?

And the ‘what would it do-s’ could go on and on.  You have a few in mind yourself, don’t you?

So why don’t we believe more?

What would it take for us to believe more?

And will we do what it takes?

Just asking.  Who’s answering?

I’m asking ABBA. Asking and believing that You, HOLY SPIRIT, are speaking this morning and You are enabling every seeking, honest heart to believe. To believe more deeply Your love for us. And in that believing we will be changed; that hope and faith, love and compassion will grow in us and in the growing of these things Your Joy will abound in us; for our own well-being and that of others and Your Kingdom, ABBA.  We would not forget You have invited, even commanded us to bring our sick and afflicted for prayer, asking You, LORD JESUS, to heal them and restore them. And as many times before the rebellious and oblivious we bring, trusting You to pursue them until they surrender to Your LORDSHIP.  I pray for Israel, for Her peace and the subduing of all her enemies, for Her protection and well-being, for strategic wisdom, all that is needed for Her to have the peace and provisions that You have promised. And I pray for America. ABBA, please save this Nation. Surely there are 10 righteous that You will spare and save America for Your Name Sake.

GOD has NO dark side. No dark personality quirks. No dark moody moments. No dark, foreboding agenda. No darkness!

None.

Not Ever!

Who else can we say that about?

None. Zilch!

Only GOD!

What sense does it make to reject HIM?

None. Zilch!

No darkness in You, ABBA. That is glorious! And we want no darkness in us either and thank You that You are diligently working in us to crucify our dark moody moments, our dark agendas, our dark personality quirks, all our dark sides.  For surely our dark sides come from our flesh, that fallen nature of sin that You came LORD JESUS to save us from. Thank You for rescuing us and continuing to rescue us moment by moment. Thank You that we will one day have no dark sides either. And thank You for the LIGHT shining in us today.  We agree to work with You so more of Your LIGHT will be seen in us and less and less darkness.  Thank You, ABBA.   We bring our sick and afflicted and ask You to heal them. Thank You for the fantastic progress in Dori. Thank You that Don is in remission. Thank You for every healing we have seen and yet there are more and I ask You to heal them too. Kerri, ABBA. Please heal Kerri. And the rebellious and wayward. There are many in our families and circles of friends. Thank You for fighting for them, ABBA.  I pray we will all join You in this battle for their souls. And Israel, I am praying for Her Peace and for the subduing of all Her enemies.  For America, I am praying for Statesmen and Heroes who will honor You, proclaim You and influence the people to repent and be saved.  ABBA, please save America. And a special World Changers group out on mission this week, they are dear and precious people, thank You for protecting them, thank You for giving them evangelizing moments as the physically minister in JESUS name.

JESUS has said and is saying to His Followers today:

For sure. For sure we are to keep the command to teach His Teachings before us always. Yet today I am concentrating on

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Someone besides me needs to be reminded of this today.

Always.

Always.

In ALL WAYS He is with us.

ABBA, thank You for Your precious Word that is Alive that we may live. Thank You LORD JESUS that You are forever with us through You, HOLY SPIRIT. You are our AWESOME GOD.  Thank You. And thank You for each dear one who comes here to read and to pray, I ask that they be encouraged and strengthened today by Your Word. We would not forget our sick and affiliated and we ask that You heal them. And we are remembering the rebellious ones we love so much and we pray that yet will they surrender their sins to You and receive Your forgiveness and the Righteousness of JESUS to their account unto eternal life. I am reminded to  our Israel asking for their peace and for the subduing of all their enemies and for my own dear Country, ABBA, I ask that You have mercy and pour out Your Holy conviction upon we the people and I pray repentance will come.  Please forgive us and raise up Statesmen and Heroes in the Name of JESUS that will influence and stem the tide of evil that is flooding these shores. Give us holy boldness, not to be decisive but to draw people to You that they may know the truth and be rescued from hell. Thank You LORD JESUS that You are forever with us in all our times of trials and our joys.
