I think I am accurate when I write that I am in the Winter of my living, and oddly it’s gloriously full, hence I am not here as often I wish.

1 Timothy 2. It’s Sunday’s text for Sunday School.

1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, ² for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. source

A little KWT paraphrase here: First of all; since we have had the introduction, now we get to some doctrine detail. And we start with prayer. How many of you know that prayer is the first step to a healthy resolution — of anything? And how many of us know we do not have GOD’s permission to deem any unworthy of our prayers?

ALL PEOPLE.
All people need prayer.

I have no clue as to the author but the saying I like: ” I need the prayer and you need the practice.”

June 2 was pray for the President day. It was Biblical on Sunday and it’s Biblical today; our Text tells us so.
