This verse was penned to the Nation of Israel before they entered the Land He promised them.

Deuteronomy 4:⁷ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God [is to us] whenever we call on Him?   source

Yet today as the Church of the Living Christ can we not appropriate it? Will you call on Him today with me for this Nation that we may again take Him as our GOD?
