2 Corinthians. Chapter 1. Verse 2.
I think I shall be brief this morning.
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. source
Merriam-Webster surprised me with its definition of Grace.
See.
Unmerited divine assistance. Coming from GOD. etc.
But Peace? Not so good.
It doesn’t even attempt to define this Peace of verse 2. Perhaps because we cannot define GOD’s Peace, we can only experience His peace. Here check out M-W’s definition of Peace. HERE.
Now my note to myself on verse 2, Chapter 1. See if you can relate.
Do I?
Is this verse asking me, do I?
Do I come (go) to people in and with the Grace and Peace of GOD who is our Father and with and in The LORD JESUS CHRIST?
Is this how I interact and react with people? And when I talk about one to another, do I?
Do I speak the Grace and Peace of GOD, my Father, over them or is it something else I speak?
I am mulling this over and as I do I see changes a-coming.
Philippians 4:7 (AMP) 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. source
