This video is dated September of 2020.
Even so, I am appreciating it today.
I’m not expecting any of my subscribers to need the following statement but I’m making it anyway.
This is NOT Trump worship.
You know that’s a prevalent accusation these days of anyone who can speak a kind word about the man.
This is giving credit where credit is due and to be unable to do that is certainly not godly.
Thanks for sharing. It’s so sad that our own brothers and sisters in Christ have made us to feel that we even have to mention words like, “This is not Trump worship.” But we know who the accuser of the brethren is, and it’s not the Lord, it’s the enemy. The enemy is using many of God’s to accuse, and it grieves my heart. I’ve even seen what looks like hatred for Pres Trump coming from the church.
I read this before and heard it again yesterday, “On Oct 20, 2020, Times West Virginia article: Trump confirmed a Presbyterian now identifies as a non-denominational Christian.” So, in light of what this truth, which I do believe by his fruit that he is, he is our brother in Christ too. Though, not perfect, as I am not perfect.
1 John 4:20, “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” I did, however notice those church leaders who seem to loathe him have strayed from the Word in many other ways as well.
I’m not ashamed to say I love President Trump and his wife and family and believe that love was placed there by God in a special way, so I could pray for him with fervency. For someone to say to love, respect, and honor someone, even greatly, is idolatry is ridiculous. It merely a tool of satan to create confusion, to cause some to fear the opinions of man, so they too can turn their hearts from Pres Trump and the prayers he needs from us. God’s people care too much about what people think instead of only what He thinks.
The things of God are discerned by the Spirit, so their attacks on him are also evidence that they are not led by the Spirit but by the flesh and with their eyes on man and their appraisals of them. We know by the Spirit that the Lord placed him in office as an act of mercy towards us, to protect our religious freedoms, reverse oppressive laws against Christians, and protect the unborn, and Israel, etc etc. God uses people. Period. Imperfect people as we all are. God bless you and yours.
Amen. I am in agreement with you. I often said I love the man and his family. Our FATHER has told us to love everyone. Thank you so much for sharing this little corner of the internet with me.
