I think I shall be quick today.
Good Wednesday morning to you.
1 Corinthians 12 begins with the Apostle Paul penning for The LORD that He (and Paul) does not want the people of Corinth (or you and me) to go on being ignorant.
How would we today like a sermon to start off that way?
Some of us would be okay with that as we do not want to be ignorant of The LORD’s Ways.
Verse 2.
2 You know that when you were pagans, no matter how you felt you were being led, you were being led astray to idols, which can’t speak at all. source
When we and they were pagans, before we received The LORD’s Salvation, no matter how we felt about it, we were being led away, astray from GOD to idols.
If we are not being led by GOD, we are being led AWAY from Him.
It’s as simple as that — and we don’t need to go on being ignorant of that.
I pray oh LORD that You will convict me of any way that I am being ignorant Si that I will not be led away from You and Your presence.
Amen! LORD, me too.
