Let us give thanks for The Word of GOD. Today and all of our days.
The Bible enlightens us, warns us, admonishes us, transforms us, comforts us, encourages us, corrects us, and gives us direction, instructions, and guidance as no other collection of words on a page.
What does the Father say about His Own Word?
Hebrews 4:12 New American Standard Bible 12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. source
What does the Father say about JESUS? Check out what just these two verses say:
Hebrews 7: 24Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently.25 Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. source And what does the Father say about the enemy?
A lot!
Here’s a sample. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 He will oppose himself to everything that people call a god or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the Temple of God and proclaim that he himself is God. sourceWhat does Father say to us? EVERYTHING!
1 John 5:21 Children, guard yourselves against false gods!sourceThe New American Standard version puts it this way: 21 Little children, guard yourselves from idols. source
I’ve spoken here a few times that I am working outside the house again, just two days a week. And those two days are heaven-sent. Truly!
I prayed and Father answered in a BIG way! Bigger than I could have imagined!
Do you think of work as a gift?
I hope you do.
GOD gave Adam meaningful activities even before sin messed up all millenniums; if we needed work before the fall, we certainly need meaningful activities today with spendable earnings, I might add.
What did Father say about work? Here’s one:
2 Thessalonians 3:10 New American Standard Bible 10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. source
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
