No Claim, No Pin

Approximate read time: 2 minutes

Who is JESUS?

Who is He really? What was/is He like in His Flesh and Bone body without tainted blood?

I’m willing to learn.

John 14: 30 and 31.

30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me. 31 But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.   Get up! Let us go on from here.  SOURCE

Please note: he has no claim on Me.
Satan had no claim on JESUS.
What does that mean to me?
Satan could not lay one charge on JESUS. He could not claim one smidgen of a nanosecond that JESUS did what Satan wanted. Zilich. Not one moment.
He had NOTHING on JESUS.
I hope that is as huge to you as it is to me.

The SINLESS JESUS!   Just think about that. Our Savior truly is SAVIOR.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t go a step further.

Romans 8: 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. emphasis mine.  SOURCE

Now take hold of this, IN JESUS; all people who have truly repented and have HOLY SPIRIT abiding within — Satan has no charge he can now pin on us. GETTYRF_72622_CourtGavel+(19)-2082809343That’s worth a hallelujah, my Friends.

One more thing before I close this window.

JESUS said: “ I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.”
I get this from that. The only way the world will know I love the Father is when I obey the Father. It was/is important to JESUS for the world to know HE loves the Father.
Shouldn’t that be important to us too?

Heavy Hand

May it be that my own heart is right when I bring Father’s Word to Him in prayer for others.

I have precious people in my world. They live undone lives—I mean, they live their lives their way, not God’s way.  I don’t say that without thought and compassion. I say this because when people watch our lives, it does not take long to see whether the Bible is our Guide. That is whether we are submitted to the LORDship of JESUS or we run our lives, our way.

I said that to say this. I came across (probably not the first time) Scripture verses to pray back to Father for the precious people in my life.

infinite-blessing-7-30-2992945211Psalm 32:4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was drained as in the summer heat.  Selah
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity.  I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin.    Selah SOURCE

Father, please lay YOUR Hand heavy upon my precious people, You know their names, and may their strength to resist Your love and grace and conviction of sins be drained like energy in Alabama’s Summer heat. Help them, Father, to acknowledge the sins so easily besetting them; help them to cease to deny their iniquity. I know it is not hidden from you, don’t let them continue to hide it from themselves.  And thank You, thank You that when they confess and turn from their sins to You, You will forgive them. You will lift them up and give them life brand new.  In this prayer, I am bringing them all, Father, each and every one of them asking You for the holy gift of Your heavy hand upon them until they turn and say YES to JESUS.  Amen.
And all GOD’s People said . . .  .

Under Siege

I haven’t done this in a while.
Today I am.
A KWT paraphrase. I hope it lights up your Spirit Man.
It has mine.

In a city under siege, it says.

img_3618-1America is under siege—it may not be visible to the natural eye, but a siege is upon us. Western North Carolina is under siege. Florida has siege barreling toward it—yes, we can say we are under siege. All of us are under siege of some nature and kind.

But hear this today.
Psalm 31, beginning with verse 21— He has shown me His loving devotion.

Okay. Here goes. KWT Paraphrase.

How has HE shown me His loving devotion?
When I was under siege and I was alarmed and thinking the wrong way, by His Grace, even while under siege I called out to HIM. And He heard me. And He helped me.
And now I can say to you all.
Love the LORD, all His saints.
He preserves the faithful. But oh the arrogant, He will fully repay you. (While I can,  I must plead with you, Please repent while you can.)
To those whose hope is in The LORD, He says, Be strong and courageous.

While under siege we must think right.
We must not succumb to the voice that says: “I am cut off from Your sight!”
No! We will say: “The LORD preserves the faithful”.
And in CHRIST JESUS we have been made faithful and we have been given Father’s loving devotion to enable us to remain faithful even under siege.  Be strong and courageous.

Never stop praying for one another.
We all need prayer and we all need the practice.
