Does it Matter?

This Scripture pic is actually featured again at the bottom of this page; I read it today, — again.
And today I am strongly mindful, in particular, of a phrase contained in the whole of the verse.

It reads: did not know Him.

Read it slowly: People. Do. Not. Know. Him.
Most of the world does not know HIM. They do not know their Creator. They do not know Him as Father, as Redeemer, as Savior, and if they remain in that state of not knowing and pass from mortal life, they will remain eternally separated from Him.
That should matter to us!
It should matter greatly to us. So much so that we plead with HOLY SPIRIT to put people in our path whom He has made ready to hear the GOOD NEWS of Salvation in CHRIST Alone. And we should be eager to introduce them to this GOD Who loves them.

It’s after 7:00 tonight as I sit before this screen, and I wonder what will I put on this page.

Today, Jerry and I planted collards and cabbage, is it seedlings, slips, tiny plants; I’m not sure, but they are in the ground. Nine collards and 6 cabbages: 3 green, 3 purple. And we prayed over them, out loud. Both of us. It’s a sweet memory for me. Do y’all do things like that too?

And we went to Aldi’s. Got a great buy on Organic Jasmine white rice. I know brown is said to be better for you, but I like the white, and we will eat it. 😊 And we found some pasture raised eggs — they say. As soon as I crack that egg for cooking, I’ll know if it’s pasture raised. The yolk will tell! And Jerry says, “that’s no joke.”

I’ve been investing in wooden cooking utensils. Acacia wood, some say is better than other hardwoods, and Teakwood exceeds Acacia. So they say. Have you noticed we often heed what ‘they say’ and we don’t even know who they are? Even so, they look good on the counter. 😊

I like keeping little things in view, like this little cardinal. Things that others may not even notice, but I do, and they remind me of special times and special people who have graced my life.
