2021, A Quick Hello

Here for a moment with a thought which arrived while I was doing something else.

We have never had a better time to read our Bibles, to prize them dearly, and steadily pour those Scriptures into our hearts and minds. 

Consider this, as it presently stands when January 20, 2021, is done there will be not one person in the chain of command that we can trust to act in our best interest.

These are dark days BUT JESUS is still the LIGHT of the World.

How well do you know Him?
Could you read your Bible more?
Could you obey what you read more than you do?
Will you make holy changes?

Second Monday of 2021.

Click. Click. Click. Time marches on. Year after year. For now.

How about a little reading this morning? When you read it put some soul in it. Read it like it means something to you. 

2 Chronicles 15  (NKJV)
1 Now the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded.
 2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. 
3 For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; 
4 but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. 
5 And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. 
6 So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. 
7 But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”
8 And when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had taken in the mountains of Ephraim; and he restored the altar of the Lord that was before the vestibule of the Lord. 
9 Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him. source  Emphasis – mine.

Removing the idols is not enough — the altar must be rebuilt.

Good Sunday Evening

The information contained in this video is important enough to me that I want to share it with as many people as are of a mind to watch/listen.
The Bill that is talked about for several minutes in the span of this video is a New York bill. I don’t live in New York. However, I am mindful for me to be unconcerned and uncaring that people in New York are in this danger is not acceptable to my Father. I must care. Brothers and Sisters, you must care. I am not suggesting that we jump in our vehicles and head to New York. I am suggesting that we PRAY about this ungodly bill. That we ask The Father to give His holy attention to this and help the people of New York. 

The other information contained in this video I also deem important enough to share with you this Sunday evening.

2 Timothy, 2021, A Quick Hello

2nd Friday

I don’t think I have much to say today. I just didn’t want to miss a weekday saying hello. 
My soul is bruised and sore but I will heal. 
Politics is a nasty business and a sabbatical is much in order for me at this juncture. It likely does not mean you will see no more ‘political awareness’ category post but for now – no.

It is my aim to absorb Scripture, to pray, and see if can discern The Father’s direction for me for this season.
Discipling comes to mind.
The Bible does say older women are to teach (disciple) the younger women. 
I’m making it a matter of prayer.  We shall see.
