The Likes of . . .

It’s about that time.
When even the world gives a nod of mention to the CREATOR GOD who came to this earth to redeem the likes of us.

Palm Sunday
Good Friday
Resurrection Sunday

Good Friday
Will we give more than a nod of recognition to the arrest, the torture, the trial, the nailing to the stake, the darkness, the pouring out of wrath, THE DEATH of the One and Only GODMAN?
Who will even read the account written in Scripture?

Resurrection Sunday.
HE who was dead – ALIVE AGAIN and forevermore alive and we defile the remembrance of that indescribable happening with eggs and baskets and bunnies or anything but faces turned to Him with hands raised in adoration and soul and body surrendered to Him as SAVIOR and LORD?
Oh, how wretched to participate in idolatry!

I was there too some years ago but praise Him, praise Him He continues to deliver the likes of me!
You too?

This all started with today’s YouVersion Verse of the Day.  img_1372-1When I read it I began to think of all the goings on that will be going on this coming week.  Today we remember Palm Sunday. There was rejoicing on that first Palm Sunday and by the end of the week there was mob rule.

Honestly, I’m not prepared to post any opinions or many comments, even, I’m just here to encourage you to consider April 8, 2024, and August 21, 2017.  (Just an insert here – it’s 7 years.) Perhaps you will do some research, seeking The LORD as you do.  Is this significant? Does GOD have anything to do with this? Is it a coincidence? Is it a warning? Is GOD speaking in His Heavens?

Psalm 19:1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their utterances to the end of the world.
In them He has placed a tent for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.  Source Link 

And if He is what must we do?

There are perhaps more than a few Ministers of the Christian Faith out there saying GOD is giving the people of America our last warning, and following April 8, 2024, not saying how quick or how long, but major (life-altering) events will be coming to America.
Recently, I heard this statement, from the time of Noah until 2020 there had been no global life-altering events; that is since the time of Noah’s Flood there have been no catastrophic events affecting every continent until 2020 . . . unless, of course, you count the First Coming of The Messiah. Is His Second Coming Close? Very close?

I’m just asking questions, to encourage you to ask questions too.

Overcast

It’s mid-week, Wednesday, specifically.  Powerful-Wednesday-Prayers-and-Blessings-2693900952

Here in Lower Alabama, it’s 64 degrees and partly cloudy, my Momma used to say it’s Overcast on days like this. I like that.  I miss my Momma. She departed this mortal life on January 31, 2009.  I am hoping when I see her again, she will be pleased with how I turned out in her absence.  March is a month with birthdays and anniversaries that draw my thoughts to eternity.
Do you have months like that? And is that eternity one of LIFE? I hope so.
And if it is not, it is my earnest desire that The FATHER will seek you out and you will surrender to LIFE, refusing eternal death. I phrased it that way because people seem to be taken with the mistaken idea that one can get saved anytime, just say a little prayer, and boom you have your one-time purchase of your own personal fire insurance policy.  Do you know that is not Biblical?

John 6: 44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.

There’s more.

36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
