1It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, 2 proclaiming our love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, Psalm 92 NIV [source]
I read these verses a few days ago. I’m still enjoying them. I’m still mulling over the life-altering, life-bettering key found there.
Proclaiming in the morning and rehearsing at night.
Proclaiming in the morning JESUS, I love You! (see John 14:21)
And when the evening has come and we lay our heads to sleep, let us rehearse to ourselves that gracious old hymn Great is Thy Faithfulness LORD unto me. Let us remember and remind ourselves as we drift off to sleep the many ways He was faithful to us.
THEN based on the authority of the Word, we will see better days.
Here’s to Better Days! :)

A later posting than my usual and if as anticipated – short.
24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” [source] I Peter 2:24
My focus this morning: so that we might die to sins. Since He died. And it was a cruel death. A substitutionary death. Since He died so I COULD die to sins, why don’t I? At least more than I do?

7 Therefore, to keep me from becoming overly proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from the Adversary to pound away at me, so that I wouldn’t grow conceited. 8 Three times I begged the Lord to take this thing away from me; 9 but he told me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is brought to perfection in weakness.” Therefore, I am very happy to boast about my weaknesses, in order that the Messiah’s power will rest upon me. 10 Yes, I am well pleased with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and difficulties endured on behalf of the Messiah; for it is when I am weak that I am strong. Pound away at me, he said. Aren’t you looking forward to meeting Paul? I suspect I am older (or at least close) than he was when he penned these words but I am nowhere near close to the well pleased-ness he speaks of here. But there’s hope! :)
I hope your weekends are pleasant, restful, and filled with holy worship.
Day 135 of 2015 ~ ~ Repentance. Perhaps our greatest need ~~~ Kathie
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
