No Claim, No Pin

Approximate read time: 2 minutes

Who is JESUS?

Who is He really? What was/is He like in His Flesh and Bone body without tainted blood?

I’m willing to learn.

John 14: 30 and 31.

30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me. 31 But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.   Get up! Let us go on from here.  SOURCE

Please note: he has no claim on Me.
Satan had no claim on JESUS.
What does that mean to me?
Satan could not lay one charge on JESUS. He could not claim one smidgen of a nanosecond that JESUS did what Satan wanted. Zilich. Not one moment.
He had NOTHING on JESUS.
I hope that is as huge to you as it is to me.

The SINLESS JESUS!   Just think about that. Our Savior truly is SAVIOR.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t go a step further.

Romans 8: 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. emphasis mine.  SOURCE

Now take hold of this, IN JESUS; all people who have truly repented and have HOLY SPIRIT abiding within — Satan has no charge he can now pin on us. GETTYRF_72622_CourtGavel+(19)-2082809343That’s worth a hallelujah, my Friends.

One more thing before I close this window.

JESUS said: “ I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.”
I get this from that. The only way the world will know I love the Father is when I obey the Father. It was/is important to JESUS for the world to know HE loves the Father.
Shouldn’t that be important to us too?

Happy Birthday, Momma

Some believe when you’re dead – you’re dead. Nothing more. We live. We die. That’s it.

My Mother was born 100 years ago today. One hundred years. She has been gone from this mortal life as we know it for 15 years. She didn’t make it here until her 85th birthday anniversary.

And I sit here today especially missing her.

One hundred years. Such a short time for someone as beautiful as her. I can still see her smile. And seeing her smile gives me one too.

So I am not going to remember her with sadness today. Because I and she are two people who believe that when you leave mortal life here you open your eyes somewhere else.
Because we never die IF we have ever LIVED.

And I could end this here but I won’t because someone somewhere just might want to know what she means if we have ever lived we never die.

There is one who can answer that. His NAME is JESUS.

John 11: 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Well, do you?
Mother and I do.

These are two of my favorite pictures of my Momma. One, so young, so in love with my Daddy; and two, still young even in her mid-seventies, still beautiful, and still smiling.
And this is me, some weeks ago,  me_n

The Bloom is off the Rose

I may not tarry long here.
It’s been full around our house, not much time for coming to this screen, so I am here, I think, just to say hello and perhaps a quick word.

The New does not wear off with GOD.
I searched for a web link that would speak to “the new wearing off” and the closest I could come was “the bloom is off the rose”. Perhaps “the new has worn off” is an old West Tennessee saying.  Even so, I  suspect you know what I mean.

How many of you know that when HOLY SPIRIT makes an impression on you, He does it in a vernacular that you are familiar with? For me sometimes that’s West Tennessee’s old sayings.

A morning or two ago I was thinking in relationships sometimes ‘the new wears off’ and our souls are not as happy with someone as we were.  By the way that is a dangerous place to be and we should seek healing from the LORD right away.
So, as I was mulling these things over Father GOD came to mind and I was deeply impressed that He wanted me to know that with Him the new does not wear off.  He loves me just as deep and wide as He did/does the day I said Yes to His Son JESUS.  John 16: 27 For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God. source

And perhaps it’s a stretch, it sure has stretched me in a good way, 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  (KJV)

The new does not wear off for The Father, He loves His Own, today, tomorrow, and forever.  He loves you just as much today as He did the day you said YES to JESUS.

Until Next Time, Kathie

Ooops, a little longer than I thought; hope you don’t mind.

The Likes of . . .

It’s about that time.
When even the world gives a nod of mention to the CREATOR GOD who came to this earth to redeem the likes of us.

Palm Sunday
Good Friday
Resurrection Sunday

Good Friday
Will we give more than a nod of recognition to the arrest, the torture, the trial, the nailing to the stake, the darkness, the pouring out of wrath, THE DEATH of the One and Only GODMAN?
Who will even read the account written in Scripture?

Resurrection Sunday.
HE who was dead – ALIVE AGAIN and forevermore alive and we defile the remembrance of that indescribable happening with eggs and baskets and bunnies or anything but faces turned to Him with hands raised in adoration and soul and body surrendered to Him as SAVIOR and LORD?
Oh, how wretched to participate in idolatry!

I was there too some years ago but praise Him, praise Him He continues to deliver the likes of me!
You too?

This all started with today’s YouVersion Verse of the Day.  img_1372-1When I read it I began to think of all the goings on that will be going on this coming week.  Today we remember Palm Sunday. There was rejoicing on that first Palm Sunday and by the end of the week there was mob rule.
And today? Well, that’s the reason for the foregoing.   Holy hugs, Kathie
