I read a statement; I do not know the Author, nor can I quote verbatim.
In paraphrase, the jest is this: So how senseless is it to let this present conflict escalate into another Civil War fighting about the last one? The one that ended 152 years ago! Will another one undo the last one? Make it un-happen? Erase it? Change it? 

Abba, this is an unholy scrimmage and I am asking you to squelch it before it goes nationwide. Thank You for every sweet fellowship we enjoy and our encounters with people in our world whose skin colors vary but Your Spirit within us is always the same. I remember her. So do You. We never saw her before in our lives but right there in the isle of Wal-Mart we parted with hugs. You did that! I am so grateful! Cause it to happen all over this nation, please. If people will cooperate with You it will happen. Holy Spirit do what only You can do for the glory of the name of Jesus and the good of we the people.  I pray for peace in America.

Father GOD, I am so grateful You let me be Your daughter; thank You. I have done nothing to deserve You; it’s all Your grace. I admit to You I am alarmed and stunned at the foolishness and the unholiness I see and the hatred and the for lack of better words down right dumbness and dullness displayed day after day. And so in the words of You, Yeshua, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Holy Spirit, please lavish us with strong conviction for sin and bring we the people to repentance. I am asking You for an awakening to who we have become as a people and what will befall us if we do not repent. I pray You will fill pulpits with courageous people and the pews with the same and that sinners and saints will repent. I pray for the zeal of the Apostles to be infused into every son and daughter You have on this planet. I don’t expect it overnight but I ask that it steadily grow until You are pleased and evil is curtailed in this Land.
I ask You to defuse and disband the hate groups that are loudly and violently demanding their own way.
I pray for President Trump and all his cabinet that they will give You their attention. I pray for wisdom and protection for them. I pray You will speak and make Your will known to each man and woman sitting in places of leadership.
I pray for safety and protection for the people in the path of this hurricane bearing down on Texas. Thank You for how You will glorify Yourself and help people through this tragic happening.
I pray for unbelievers across this country that they will have an encounter with You that turns their hearts and opens their mouths to speak truth.
Father GOD, I pray You will forgive the flat-out stupidity that is rampant and that You will raise up men and women of wisdom to outshine and overcome this blight on America at this time.
I pray Holy Spirit that You will revive us. I am thinking that we Your people are a lot sicker than we think we are; move us to find out just what the truth is about ourselves and more importantly just what You expect of us. I don’t think we know. We either don’t know or we have gotten distracted by the world and we have forgotten why we are here. Forgive us, Abba, and renew and revive us quickly I pray.

The Choir

 Pausing some moments between my Fitbit steps I caught a little news today. For the sake of dignity I will not name names and just in case this posting reaches beyond the ‘choir’ here’s the Father’s plea.

 2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.  source

Entertainment.  I’d be a liar if I denied I enjoy being entertained. Movies, music,  television, plays, books, social gatherings, and food even; all are forms of entertainment for me. Albeit some movies, some music, some television, some of all the above I shun like the plague.

Why?  2 Corinthians 6:17.

Some things are just not worthy of my senses. I am confident that the ‘choir’ agrees. Please help me pray that the ‘congregation’ will join us.

Hannah’s Prayer

Abba, thank You for the morning; the sunshine is soothing and comforting to behold; thank You for the people who worked all night to restore electricity to many of us. Thank You for strength to cook and clean and be up and moving this day.
As I heard the men talking on Christian Talk Radio I am sorely tempted. Tempted to anger, tempted to frustration and even hopelessness but then there is You. Republicans and Democrats fighting and accomplishing little, vying and jockeying to feather their own nests; it is so wrong and it infuriates me. It makes me want to plait a whip and turn over their tables but wisdom and opportunity says that is not my place so I am here petitioning You for help; help for me to be holy in my thoughts, my words and my deeds and asking You to mess with these people; asking You to mess with elected officials individually and politically. I long to see You get their attention. I am so sorry for the evil that is going on here. I am so sorry that there is even a planned parenthood to fund or not fund. I would so love to see You shut all those places down. Is there anything I can do; we can do to help people not be afraid to do what is right? Fear, an emotion that gets us into so much trouble and grief. Help me be afraid of NOTHING but displeasing You. Help me stand in holy boldness and do what is right, right here where I am and everywhere You would be pleased to send me. Adonai, Holy Spirit, I am asking for laborers; prayer laborers-warriors, enough to change minds and hearts, enough to turn people from Satan to You.
This group, these Praying Together women, increase us I pray, increase prayers around America; increase the love, obedience and devotion of we your people and let us see You transform lives I pray – even our very own, each of us. Inspire and empower and move us to be willing to be conduits of Your Holy Spirit to see people rescued, saved from sin and the clutches of Satan. Do a work in our hearts so that we are not satisfied unless we are seeing people turn to faith in YOU. Adonai, bring again the fire of Your Early church to tell others that You save! You said You would pour out Your Spirit on sons and daughters, this daughter is asking for what You have for me, for each of us and if we are not ready yet please get us ready for Jesus sake. I love you LORD; help me love You more.

1 Samuel 2:1-3  (NKJV)

2 And Hannah prayed and said:

“My heart rejoices in the Lord;
My horn is exalted in the Lord.
I smile at my enemies,
Because I rejoice in Your salvation.
2 “No one is holy like the Lord,
For there is none besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God. 
3 “Talk no more so very proudly;
Let no arrogance come from your mouth,
For the Lord is the God of knowledge;
And by Him actions are weighed.  source
