Just Say YES

This is offered not as criticism but as a longing of my being to see and hear people with platforms and influence when speaking an invitation of Come to JESUS to consider making a change.

This: To acknowledge that just repeating a prayer will not save anyone.

Please begin by posing some questions.

Questions like: Is there a tugging in your soul?
Are you sensing something within you that you don’t fully understand but you know you are not right with GOD?
Are you convinced that you are a hell-deserving sinner?
Are you convinced that you need a Savior?
And do you see today that JESUS CHRIST is the only Savior?
The Only One who can take your guilt, your sin, and your shame away?
The Only One who can make you right with GOD?
Moreover that HE actually wants to save YOU?

If you can answer all these in the affirmative, you are ready to surrender to the LORDSHIP of JESUS.
You are ready to be saved.
Just Say YES.
HE WILL DO THE SAVING.
And when He does NEVER stop saying Thank You to Him.

Romans 3:10

10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13

13 The sea gave up the dead in it; and Death and Sh’ol gave up the dead in them; and they were judged, each according to what he had done.
14 Then Death and Sh’ol were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death — the lake of fire.
15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8

But as for the cowardly, the untrustworthy, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those involved with the occult and with drugs, idol-worshippers, and all liars — their destiny is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, the second death.”

If you are uncertain of your eternal destiny and you are concerned about that – that is GOOD NEWS!

Please hear me.
Please read these foregoing Scripture passages (or perhaps others) until you are ready to say YES to JESUS

And when you say YES with an honest and thankful heart — welcome to The Family of GOD!!

I Sure Would Like To Be Wrong

I have no feel-good message for you today.
I can only counsel us to pick up our Bibles, read them, obey the Author thereof, and share Him with everyone we can; we have no other individual hope.

The America we loved has expired.
There is no way back and because of human hatred, there is no way forward UNLESS there is national repentance and if I were you I’d not hold my breath waiting.
Repentance has not been a National practiced for longer than I can remember.
There are no honorable days ahead for America as a Nation. She has lost her way and her place.

As I said, I sure would like to be wrong but presently I don’t believe I am.

Anyone able to disprove the foregoing, please, please do!

Individually, JESUS still saves, for now.

Romans 10:  (NKJV) (I don’t think the Father will mind if we add Americans in parenthesis right after the name Israel.)
1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.
For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” source

My desire for you all is that you Seek the Prince of Peace and find rest for your souls.

Luke 13

Luke 13.

Yeshua told a parable or two in His three and half year preaching ministry. In one of those parables, He told a story that would tend to make one think that there is stuff that GOD does not know. But wait. Doesn’t He know everything? How can He know everything and not know everything? Easy. HE is GOD.

I understand it this way, for now. I am confident I will understand it fully when I see HIM in Eternity.

Beginning in verse 24, Yeshua tells a parable to answer a question one of the many who followed Him from place to place asked, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” We ask the same question today.
He replied, (pardon my paraphrase) a Master of the house got up and shut the door.
This reminds me of a Galilean Wedding; where the Groom finally comes for the Bride and they go into the House for the Marriage Supper, and the Door is closed. Only the Attendants on the premises at the time the Door is shut go into the House for the Marriage Super. Those who come after are denied access. There is a movie that explains this amazingly well.

25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’  source

What does Jesus mean, I do not know you, where you are from?

I understand it this way. Marriage is a covenant.
We think of it today as a contract which is sad indeed.
GOD is interested in covenants.
A covenant is about Relationship.
A contract is about performance. As long as you perform well, I’ll abide in Contract.
See what I mean?

And the question was Lord, are there few who are saved?
What a question!
I think yes. Yes in comparison to the whole, few are saved.
Why? Because few accepted (and few continue today to accept) the INVITATION to come to the Wedding.

But how can GOD know and not know? Easy I think.
Those in the Master’s House are known because they are in the House; they are in COVENANT with GOD. He knows them IN COVENANT.
I know a few people but I only know JT in the marriage covenant.

So does Jesus know you in Covenant or as one of the many who keeps saying, no thank You?
