May it be that my own heart is right when I bring Father’s Word to Him in prayer for others.
I have precious people in my world. They live undone lives—I mean, they live their lives their way, not God’s way. I don’t say that without thought and compassion. I say this because when people watch our lives, it does not take long to see whether the Bible is our Guide. That is whether we are submitted to the LORDship of JESUS or we run our lives, our way.
I said that to say this. I came across (probably not the first time) Scripture verses to pray back to Father for the precious people in my life.
Psalm 32:4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was drained as in the summer heat. Selah
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah SOURCE
Father, please lay YOUR Hand heavy upon my precious people, You know their names, and may their strength to resist Your love and grace and conviction of sins be drained like energy in Alabama’s Summer heat. Help them, Father, to acknowledge the sins so easily besetting them; help them to cease to deny their iniquity. I know it is not hidden from you, don’t let them continue to hide it from themselves. And thank You, thank You that when they confess and turn from their sins to You, You will forgive them. You will lift them up and give them life brand new. In this prayer, I am bringing them all, Father, each and every one of them asking You for the holy gift of Your heavy hand upon them until they turn and say YES to JESUS. Amen.
And all GOD’s People said . . . .

Until Next Time, Holy Hugs, Kathie
