1It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, 2 proclaiming our love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, Psalm 92 NIV [source]
I read these verses a few days ago. I’m still enjoying them. I’m still mulling over the life-altering, life-bettering key found there.
Proclaiming in the morning and rehearsing at night.
Proclaiming in the morning JESUS, I love You! (see John 14:21)
And when the evening has come and we lay our heads to sleep, let us rehearse to ourselves that gracious old hymn Great is Thy Faithfulness LORD unto me. Let us remember and remind ourselves as we drift off to sleep the many ways He was faithful to us.
THEN based on the authority of the Word, we will see better days.
Here’s to Better Days! :)

That’s what I heard Charles say. Charles Billingsley. I was watching/listening to a You Tube. Charles was in concert at a church in Macon, Georgia. And right about 30 minutes in he was encouraging the congregation and he said reckon. And I was off!
Some would say that’s a pretty southern word. It’s a godly word too. The Scripture passage I was thinking of was Romans 8:18. There Paul utilized it as an accounting term. Reckon. Count it. Count it as so. By the way in the KJV you will find Reckon 33 times. Here’s a link in case you want to check it out.HERE
Romans 8: 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [source]
And so we count and if we count it so, I reckon that reckoning will change how we live. And I reckon, I need to do some reckoning.
I reckon. Seriously smiling here. :)
Now. One more thing and I’ll press publish.
That Charles Billingsley you tube? You got an hour and 28 minutes? I reckon it’s worth every minute I’ve invested. Perhaps you will too.
And a bit (translation: a few minutes) before the I reckon, he sings a song, and a certain portion of the lyrics is this: You wrapped my soul inside Your Arms. I don’t know about you but upon hearing those words I was wrapped in love this morning; and not just me but I saw in those words my Girls wrapped in His Arms too. Don’t you reckon some worship was going on? :)
War Room. The Movie. And in my opinion a movie to be seen! Again and again.
I tear up every time I even watch the trailer. I know DADDY GOD is speaking here.
Individual War Rooms. Again in my opinion every Christian, every obedient Christian has one. Perhaps not in a physical closet but every obedient Christian withdraws to an alone place with GOD daily, often moment by moment. Some come away to back porches, decks, walking trails, cars, (trucks and minivans too), kitchen sinks; any physical place where a soul can be still and quiet before GOD.
However, after the movie War Room I am pondering a specific set aside physical place is more necessary that I had previously allowed myself to believe. Generally Christians have a specific, sanctified place to gather to worship once, twice, even three times a week. It’s called ‘church’. And generally not a whole lot else goes on in these places – just a gathering of people together to sing, praise, pray and hear the preaching of the Bible.
I have a makeshift office. It’s in the GRAND GIRLS bedroom. And I spend time there with the LORD. I prayer journal. I write – such as this very piece I am typing right now. I read. I study for Sunday School. But because this room houses all this activity it often gets WAY cluttered and when it does, I’m just being honest here, it frustrates me and not much praying gets done until the clutter is reigned in. Since the movie I see the need to have a place dedicated to wage war in prayer. A place to where I can immediately retreat, no clutter to clear first, no distractions. I want that. I am weak. I NEED it. Not sure where or how long it will take to achieve it – I’m praying about it. :)
31 There were so many people coming and going that they couldn’t even take time to eat, so he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a place where we can be alone, and you can get some rest.” [source]
Oh what beautiful words! Oh what a blessed thought! Yeshua HaMashiach, JESUS take me away!

We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
