Revisit

I’d like to revisit yesterday’s Scripture. New Pic, though. I wouldn’t want y’all to skip over today because the Pic was the same. 😊

The verse says in part: but to us who are being saved . . .
I’ve been thinking about it today.
Did you notice it says being saved
Not past tense but present tense participle.  There’s a reason for that.
It indicates ongoing actions. It expresses actions that are in progress at a specific time
I’ve heard it said this way most of my life: we have been saved, we are being saved, and we shall yet be saved.
Got that?

I get it this way.  I have been saved (delivered) from the kingdom of darkness into GOD’s Kingdom of Light by the blood of JESUS The CHRIST.  Presently, I am being saved from myself; my mind, body, and emotions are being transformed to practice holiness, and I shall be saved from the very presence of sin at the death of my mortal body and/or when JESUS returns for us. (Oh, by the way, all phases of Salvation, past, present, and future are by the Blood of JESUS The CHRIST.)
So, tell me, is that good or what?
And can you say the same?

LORD willing, see you Monday, Kathie

Good, Better, Best

Image from You Version

Good, Better, Best is the name of a book I used to read to my firstborn Grandson.  It featured Mary and Martha and choosing the Best.

Best.
Do your best.
What does doing your best mean?
Free Dictionary, in part, says it means earnest and conscientious activity intended to do or accomplish something.

Today. In this time that we are today, the Scripture is just as important as when it was penned, and today, we are commanded as the People of GOD to rightly handle the Word of Truth. It’s our mission, while we have time, to do our BEST. And what is best?
Having our lives marked with earnest, conscientious seeking to see and KNOW GOD from the Scriptures so well that we can teach others about Him.  This is for all GOD’s Children, not just a few.

Holy hugs, Kathie

We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
