If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?
Good question. It requires serious thought — For a moment.
I hardly know how to be me! Stepping into another life not knowing their thoughts, their habits, not knowing their secrets that we all have. Imagine what we could mess up in 24 hours. And what happens when they are they again? Do they undo what we did? Or must they contend, and accept what we did whether they agree or not? For you see, today, what we do today affects who and what we do tomorrow.
But what of the good I might do in their life in 24 hours? Perhaps I should do that good in my own life for 24 hours.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?
Today’s writing prompt. Let’s see what do I want to write.
What a good question for pondering but it only took a nanosecond for me to say just a better me. Better as in Kinder, wiser, more helpful, and doing more good for others.
But to be someone else for a day. Nah!
You see when we look at the lives of others we don’t see what really is. We don’t see what goes on when the doors are closed and they lay their heads to sleep. We don’t see the internal struggles. We don’t KNOW that their lives are richer and more fulfilling than ours.
So me. I’ll stick with me – the me Jesus is transforming me to be. Because He never fails.
We are glad you are here; stay a while, look around, and be encouraged. We estimate there to be over 3,000 posts here at The White Stone Blog. Please know my hope is ALWAYS to help and NEVER harm. I have voiced many opinions and thoughts here since 2007 and by now I MAY NOT EVEN AGREE with all of them and some of my grammar and punctuation likely needs editing. But this is changeless: JESUS is our ONLY Savior and Hope. Do you KNOW Him?
