An Appeal

If you will, I’d like for you to assist me with my Sunday School lesson prep.  I have a question I am contemplating asking my class about Colossians 1:23.

Colossians 1: (New American Standard Bible)
23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

What causes people to move away from the hope of the Gospel?

In what circumstances do you feel most vulnerable and are tempted to lose hope?

Do you think verse 24 gives the nutshell answer and if so what do you perceive that answer to be?

Colossians 1: (New American Standard Bible)
24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.

Thought Landing II

Just to complete the set, I am posting here a link for Part II of Joyce Meyer’s Why am I in a bad mood? message. I hope you will watch and find encouragement and courage.

Blessed to bless,
Kathie

Thought Landing

I heard a Minister plead with his audience today to receive JESUS, that HE had died for them.
Immediately a thought landed hard.

Are lost folks actually moved when we say to them that JESUS died for them?

Is there so much death and destruction in this culture that we are jaded to death?

And if so what can we do about it?

As I type Joyce is ministering “Why am I in a bad mood?” Click HERE for a link. Lets watch. Lets listen.

Blessings!
Kathie
