Here’s . . .

Just a phrase from my Journey reading this morning. “. . . even in His holiness, He understands our humanness.”

14 For he understands how we are made, he remembers that we are dust. via Ps 103 KJV;CJB – Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that – Bible Gateway.

which started me at Psalm 103. Here’s a link if you want to read the whole of it.

Here’s an excerpt to take on your way today.

17 But the mercy of Adonai on those who fear him is from eternity past to eternity future, and his righteousness extends to his children’s children, 18 provided they keep his covenant and remember to follow his precepts.

Today’s Arsenal

This is for me this morning, but I will share with you just in case you need it too. I’ll give it in context and then pull a nugget or two for today’s arsenal.

6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time he may lift you up.
7 Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.
8 Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9 Stand against him, firm in your trust, knowing that your brothers throughout the world are going through the same kinds of suffering.
10 You will have to suffer only a little while; after that, God, who is full of grace, the one who called you to his eternal glory in union with the Messiah, will himself restore, establish and strengthen you and make you firm.
11 To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
12 Through Sila, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written you briefly, encouraging you and giving my witness that this is God’s true grace. Stand firm in it!
13 Your sister congregation in Bavel, chosen along with you, sends greetings to you, as does my son Mark.
14 Greet each other with a kiss of love. “Shalom aleikhem!” to all who belong to the Messiah.

via 1 Peter 5 KJV;CJB – The elders which are among you I – Bible Gateway.

Mighty Hand – ABBA’s Hand is mighty today!  Take that and apply it where you need it!

Stay sober! — Don’t become intoxicated today, or drunk on the dregs of this world; on the challenges, the troubles, the sins, the pleasures, the to do lists, the anything this world has to offer or shove at us today; don’t become inebriated with stuff today.

Stand firm in your trust – that ABBA is good and that He loves YOU.

And if not today, soon

will HIMSELF restore, establish and strengthen you and make you firm.

Blessings, my Friends on this 14th day of 2014.

Out of the Norm

Good mid morning. A certain county in Lower Alabama have given school students a day off so I am blessed with a couple GRANDS today. And as it might fall, one GRAND has been running a low-grade fever but we are just about normal again!! Still if you are of a mind to say a prayer for her full health to return, we would be grateful!

I keep waiting for normal days to do normal things like putting the pantry back in order but my ideal normal does not come – life keeps serving me non-ideal days to do certain tasks on my to do list. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, just explaining; and gathering a lesson, I think: that if we are waiting for ideal conditions to do ideal things, we might considering giving up that ideal and just do what we can when we can and praise JESUS as we do.

23 Whatever work you do, put yourself into it, as those who are serving not merely other people, but the Lord. via Colossians 3 KJV;CJB – If ye then be risen with Christ, seek – Bible Gateway.

Even on out of the norm days. :)

Blessings, my Friends, on this 13th day of 2014 ^
